Subject: Two-a-days? Looking for some input from the Grey Guys/Gals and more experienced athletes here. My "basic schedule" calls for two workouts on Mon and Fri. Weekends remain empty, to be used for recovery and/or playtime. My plan for Short Bike and Short Walk/Jog is 45m on my 2 Base weeks and only 30m on my Recovery weeks. My Med Swim will be somewhere around 1400-1600 yds. My Short Swim will be between 1200-1400 yds. My "basic schedule" looks like this: - Mon - Short Walk/Jog and Med Swim
- Tue - Long Bike
- Wed - Long Swim
- Thu - Long Walk/Jog
- Fri - Short Bike and Short Swim
My question is, do you think I should be doing my two-a-days as separate AM/PM workouts, or would I be okay doing them back-to-back? ETA: I know, it doesn't look like much but I'm really only interested in building a solid base this year, after a long hiatus from training. Edited by leatherneckpa 2020-01-16 12:55 PM
