Slight hangover which didn't help time! Narrow start so first km a lot slower than could have been.


Slight oddity of a course. Finished some distance from start, and the first half of the route was around playing fields which was a little featureless. Second half more than made up for it with a glorious section along the river with cathedral and castle in the background. RD have farewell speech after doing job for over 8 years - understandably long but made everything a little late. Hope they find someone to do such a sterling job as him.
