Subject: I'm new, middle aged and got the painLove to bike, not a bad swimmer but running--I've got the pain! My first real training for a "Tri" and giving myself plenty of time to mold this out of shape body back into shape. BUT--a very Big BUT--never really ran (am taking it slow--really ) Been limiting myself to 2 miles during the first couple of weeks--but still feeling the pain! Contiue to stretch and walk around 10 miles everyday. But to put it mildly--running is a pain--what is the big secret to getting through this if you are not and never been a runner? |
