Comments: Filled all 4 Fuel Belt Bottles with GU20 and then took water at the aid stations. GU @ Mile 4, 8 Sport Beans @ Mile 10 GU @ Mile 12 What would you do differently?: I usually take in 300 calories per hour for anything over 1 hour of exercise. Ate too many calories which is weird but apparently I can't handle that many on the run. Felt fine until I took my last GU at mile 12 and immediately felt bloated and stomach upset. Next time I'll shoot for about 200 calories an hour and see how that works. ![]() Post race

Woke up at 5am, got dressed including vaseline for the feet. Ate 2 slices sprouted wheat bread with peanut butter and jelly and a banana. Drove to the train station to catch a train to the race.
Stretched, went to the bathroom etc. Took 2 Tylenol before the race as a precaution for the knee.
