Age Group Rank = 18/32
Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 5am, got dressed including vaseline for the feet. Ate 2 slices sprouted wheat bread with peanut butter and jelly and a banana. Drove to the train station to catch a train to the race.
Event warmup:

Stretched, went to the bathroom etc. Took 2 Tylenol before the race as a precaution for the knee.
Run
  • 2h 35m 50s
  • 13.1 miles
  • 11m 54s  min/mile
Comments:

Filled all 4 Fuel Belt Bottles with GU20 and then took water at the aid stations.

GU @ Mile 4, 8
Sport Beans @ Mile 10
GU @ Mile 12
What would you do differently?:

I usually take in 300 calories per hour for anything over 1 hour of exercise. Ate too many calories which is weird but apparently I can't handle that many on the run.

Felt fine until I took my last GU at mile 12 and immediately felt bloated and stomach upset. Next time I'll shoot for about 200 calories an hour and see how that works.
Post race
Warm down:

Drank a bottle of water, stretched, took 6 RecoverEase and rode the train home to check in on my buddies doing IM Arizona
