Subject: RE: GJCC triBRZ, I do live in the Boro. I am one of the running coaches for Team in Training, its the smaller group that meets at General Bragg... On your swimming, one suggestion is to have another stoke such as breast stroke. Right now swimming freestyle may be hard, but I would suggest swim 50 yards freestyle, then 25 yard breast stroke, then 50 Freestyle. This will slowly extend you time of continuous swimming. Then the next week swim 75 free, 25 breast. I know my first tri race I was nervous about the swim but once I got out there I would breast stroke to catch my breath if I felt uncomfortable and had so problem. Right now, the water is too cold outside. Sometime in mid may. What we can do is rent a kayak from MTSU and take it out. Have 2-3 folks swim, one in the kayak and then switch up.
