Flying down to LA on Saturday to pick it up from a college-buddy who's the Sales Manager of a major BMW dealership. It's a BMW 2007 328i Convertible. Premium package, heated seats, sparkling graphite paint, leather, iDrive/Nav, etc. Wait in LA is six months, no discounts. My buddy got me to the front of the line, and even got me small discount. I can get access to the trunk without having to move the bikes. Oh, yeah. Nice car! Since I only plan on living to about 70 I had my mid-life crisis a few years ago. It was fun.

In my defense, I haven't bought a new car in 11 years (and I'm buying "new" only because of the 4-yr/50,000 all-maintenance-included service plan). Also, my new, long overdue, corporate car allowance helps out. |
