It's the Thursday night before SOMA. People may not want to do OWS.  I will be out of town.  SOOO wish I could be there for the open house. Oh well.......    There's a Chipotle's right there...the ESCKTC should meet up for man sized burritos and then go to the open house as a group!!

I am by no means a picky eater, but I would honestly rather eat at Taco Bell, McDonalds, Burger King, or Wally's Greasy Spoon than Chipotle's.

McDonald's owns Chipotle's anyway, so that should give some clue as to the quality.

That being said; I have no problem meeting up with everyone there and hanging out while they ate.

McDonald's sold it's stake in Chipotle's last year.

There are tons of places to eat around there.  It's in the Gilbert Town Center.

Well, I have parent/teacher conferences until 6:30 Thursday evening, so if we have the OWS on the usual day then I won't be able to make it.

I could make the OWS tomorrow (Tuesday) or Friday.  Any interest in any of those two days?

More importantly, where are we meeting first so I do not get lost on all the Gilbert roads?  I thought Chris was Bonking drinking first.

I am soooo there if I can get someone to watch my kids. I bought my bike from Focus Cyclery and I do my group rides with them on Saturdays. I would love to win that wetsuit, for I don't have one.

BTW. Hi ESKTC!

I'm a newbie but have heard of your group from friends by word of mouth on the street and online. I figured this would be my starting point due to the topic being the bike being the shop I go to.

Hi Marcie!!! So good to "meet" you be sure to introduce yourself to us at the open house so we can meet formally. I am excited to meet someone new. When is your next race? You doing SOMA? I am also stoked to hear ESCKTC is "getting around!"

Nice meeting you too!

I'm going to try best I can to get to this event. It's just juggling the kids that night that will stop me. If I do go, I'll look for you for sure.

My next race?? I'm working on going to el Tour de Tucson and doing the 80 mile portion. I'm hoping to get enough miles in between now and then. Next weekend's group ride will be the deciding factor for me. I heard they did 50+ miles today at Usery Pass.

From there...not sure? I'm trying to set my goals now and figure it out training wise, expense wise.

SOMA...I'm not doing that one. That's my long term goal for 2008. I just completed my first sprint tri (Nathan's Tempe Tri) and feel that I need more experience, even for the Quarter. However, I'm going to set out and be there to support the triathletes instead. Also get a feel for it.

ESCKTC is getting around. I learned of this through StandsWithAFist's husband in my cycling group (he's mentioned it) and another online friend, CactusTri. So...this is great!

I'm a single mom of three and teach full time. So, I juggle all of this best I can.

Thanks for the welcome. I hope to meet you on Thursday.
