Nah, too early to get him something. Just buy him a drink or two while you're out thanks!. In fact, it's my fav spinning night, and since we have gone out so much, I told him I wanted to do spinning after work, then a beer. I have no idea what is functional, so I'm guessing here, LOL! edit... but wait cute?, I told him my hair would still be in a ponytail, LOL!! Edited by pigfinn 2007-11-26 9:22 PM |

Master![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I'd totally get a really funny card. Nothing in the least romantic, and a gift card to like Outback or something. It's up to him if he shares it with you! |

The fact that you know what it is will be enough. (assuming you know what his favorite beer is) I don't know exactly, but I do know it's not BudLight... which is my fav, LOL! |

If you feel you must get him something it needs to be small, i.e spare bike tubes or something similar ha ha, funny thing you would mention tubes!! He took my bike home on Saturday and said it needed cleaning, and he would be glad to do it. My tube stems were bent and it was hard to pump air, and he said he'd fix that. I argued about him bringing my bike home, but then gave in. I got my bike back not only cleaned with an oiled chain, etc... but new tubes with these huge stems!!! I asked him if I owed him for the tubes and he said "nah, I had a bunch of new ones laying around" He's a good guy... something clearly must be wrong with him, LOL! |

Master![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I was gonna say something bad for a present but I will not. A funny card the beer some tubes would be good. Keep it casual sounds like things are going great and he is probably worries about you getting him something as well. Probably doesn't want you to go and get him something could put him in an awkward position (Maybe you want him in an awkward position, I don't know) Oh and you said your hair would be in a ponytail? PONYTAILS are HOT |

Home is Chicago. We both live in Northern VA. And he asked me out in person at a party I had the Friday before Turkey Day. We continued talking after he asked me out to dinner, so I guess neither of us thought about it. This isn't the first time a guy has asked me out, genuinely been interested and neglected to get my info. The last ex did the same. I left my phone number at his house (I nannied for the family he rented a room from) and he called me. Edited by wurkit_gurl 2007-11-26 9:57 PM |

Master![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Get him a gift card to the LBS. Sounds like he likes working on his bike and you can always use gift cards to the bike shop (he did just use some new tubes on your bike). Plus, maybe he doesn't have a lot of family around and won't get many B-day gifts. I know when I was single, any acknoledgement of my birthday was kind of nice... |
