Subject: RE: SMELLY SHOESNik Wax will get your shoes good and clean, but in my experience it doesn't take away the stink. (Also ... have you used it before? I don't think it would be any good in a washer ...) A few things to try: - scrub 'em really well inside and out (follow the directions) with nik wax, then leave them out IN THE SUN to dry (make sure to take them in if it's not sunny or they'll just get damp again). If you have no sun, this obviously won't work. - If that doesn't work, or you have no sun, you could toss 'em in the dryer on a VERY low heat setting for a long time, with some dryer sheets in there. - Then try sealing them in a plastic bag for a day or two with a bunch of dryer sheets and baking soda. (DO NOT do this if they are in the least bit damp!) That's all I got! Good luck! |
