Subject: RE: Bring on the INSANITY!This week is the week 5 'recovery' week for me. I took an extra rest day (monday ) as I was suffering the Baltimore Ravens' loss to the Steelers. Just couldn't face the world at 5:30 am on Monday.
Today I did the Cardio Abs and Balance, or whatever it's called, for the first time. Like all the other Insanity workouts I really liked it. The last 2 exercise sets looked so easy but really burned (balanced on 1 foot/knee above waist/extending the foot ). Ouch.
I ran my 5k on Sat w/ my daughter - it was great. She ran with her friend and they did not stop and walk at all. I felt great myself. With almost zero training I managed to run a respectable time (for me ) and I felt good. 4 weeks of Insanity seemed to have a positive impact! |
