It's so bad today I can barely keep it bent. Can't wait to get on a plane later. Ugh. That sucks. Did you at least get an asile set. I'm flying standby, they'll probably put me in the coat closet. Or the bathroom. Mile High, anyone? I'd have to convince a hot guy to travel with me for that one! |

Pro 4608 Brooklyn, NY | Subject: RE: The Mysterious Dark Arts - l'acte 2 I need to vent. About 2 weeks ago, my work schedule changed so I decided to stay in Chicago until Tuesday, instead of Monday as originally planned. I called the airline and asked if I could use my ticket to fly standby and they said "sure, no problem, and those flights are pretty empty." Being paranoid as I am, I called again a few days before my trip and got the same response. Then I called last night. Same thing. Today I called one last time and was told my ticket was invalid. After arguing with American for 20 minutes they wouldn't budge. I had to buy a one way ticket back to NYC for a ridiculous amount of money, and I have to fly tomorrow morning at 6:45am, which means I get to get up at 3:30, fly and go straight to work. Is it normal that I'm so raging angry right now? There. I feel better. Thanks for listening. |

I'm glad I don't have to travel. Sorry to hear they pulled this on you. You should have taken some names and perhaps their ID number or something for proof, but then it would still go back to "he said, she said". |

I held back on the all caps Taking names wouldn't have helped. They apparently keep a log in the system of all calls and every time your itinerary is accessed. So to demonstrate what morons they are, the first woman said "i see you called last night...." and then the supervisor, who was worthless, said, "we have no record you called yesterday." Unbelievable. I'll be drafting a strongly worded letter to Customer Relations and I'm hoping I'll get something out of this. If not, you can guarantee I'm telling everyone I know about it because you should seriously think twice before flying with American if this is how their customer service is. |

I would be fuming too if I was in your place. Flying just sucks, that why I don't like to do it. I cannot count the times, that I was delayed, rerouted and my bags gone. And most of the counter personnel doesn't have a clue what they are talking about or they plain out don't care about their customers. ARRRGGHHH.... That makes me angry all over again.... Also with Sunday and my flight to Germany in mind... |

I've got a bunch of stuff to get done tonight, but I'm going to try to get 40 minutes in on the treadmill. Tomorrow, though, all training is on hold... because IT"S SKI SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, that's right, Loveland opens at 8:30 tomorrow morning, and you can bet I'm going to be there! mmmm, I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight, it's going to feel like I'm a kid on Christmas eve. |
