Champion 7931 Sequim, Washington | Subject: RE: Team Peep Show - The Sequel I saw a PT on Tuesday...I am beginning to add inserts to my right shoe. So far I have added 1mm. No problems so far. She is starting me on a 10 week beginner running program. If I have any pain or soreness during or after the run I need to drop back a level. This is really going to slow down training. |

We will go through quite a few threads in that case.mchally - 2009-03-05 4:18 PM Life is sooooo busy. I am really tired...this is the first time that I have made it online since tuesday evening! I missed the ending of the original team peep show thread.
Did I mention that I have been busy??? I was online and missed the end of the last thread. It had to do with the 17 post per page thing, which you also missed. That was just yesterday. Today it is 20 again. With Phil on the team, we will go through quite a few threads anyway. I get by with a little help from my friends. *Romper Room reference* I see K. I see TinkerBeth. I see the whole Team Peep Show. And, oh, I see an EEEEE vil Chia Poodle. Edited by 1stTimeTri 2009-03-05 3:45 PM |

Depends how you define "near" ... 5-6 hour drive My training partner is doing it in 2010, and I am possibly remotely maybe sorta iffy if the stars align, Pluto is in the 12th parallel, I lose more than the 75 pounds I've already lost, my calves start behaving and I get a sign from Athena, might register. I would be in it to finish, not compete. |

I had see chiropractor several times without lasting relief. I also could not lay on a yoga mat without my sacrum (low back) hurting. It hurts horribly the first couple of uses but then works wonders. sorry to sound like a wacko going on about this alternative therapies. but I have just had a lot of success with them recently and wanted to share. This is really going to slow down training. No official diagnosis, but it is likely that it has to do with the fact that my right leg is half an inch shorter than my left leg. I have had sciatic nerve issues related to a bulging disc, but I don't yet know it the two are inter-related. |

Champion 10742 Ames, IA | Subject: RE: Team Peep Show - The Sequel I'm still wavering on whether or not to volunteer at IM MOO this year. I want to do an Ironman next year and that's the closest one. The only problem is that it is on the same date as the Iowa-Iowa State football game. There are several problems with this: 1. I am a die hard hawkeye fan and missing this game is a BIG deal. 2. The game is being played in my back yard. 3. I have a ton of friends who return to Ames just for this event, some of whom I'm lucky to see even once a year 4. I missed the last game that was in Ames due to being in a frickin wedding (Seriously this guy is a huge football fan. A lotta people were pissed. We caught the fourth quarter from the limo, but it wasn't the same) 5. I still catch grief for for missing that game to this day. 6. I still catch grief for missing other televised Hawkeye games last year due to training and/or racing.

Very impressive. LazyMarathoner - 2009-03-05 9:00 AM Morning. Ah, sleeping in until 7 was absolute bliss. I could get used to that, but better not. I have a big swim tonight, a little over 3,000. That will be my peach for the day! What's the setup - yards or meters? You'll be more impressed as we swim the 4400 yards in Sept. Lazy and I are doing IM Moo - her 1st time and my 2nd. Watcha mean? I was reading into the question some so needed the clarification. Almost all the Ironman venues sellout on registration day. Moo (WI) does for sure. What helps is if you volunteer for the race, you can register ahead of all the other peeps waiting in line. That year's participants can signup the day before the race, and if you helped volunteer that registration day, you can register, too, but not until after registration closes (which I did). (Confused yet ) I plan on volunteering this yr! I can't wait. |
