I have a run on schedule for today but I have to wait for it to get light (don't like running over ice in the dark), so I'll have until the kiddies leave for school. Guess I'll have to clean my house until then, since the elves didn't show up during the night and do it for me. The elves didn't show up here either. What is up with that? I wonder where they did show up? Well it definitely wasn't my place. Who's hogging the elves?? I think they all turned Evil last month.... |

EXCEPT NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO SHOVEL/APPLY ICE MELT!!!!! The US luge team should come on buy and use it for training!!!! Did I mention I'm NOT HAPPY!?it's probably for the best - my a$$ is peculiarly sore from yesterday's drainer ride.... but still I'm mad, where's my cheese?! Well, you could go out there and shovel.... It would be a good workout. Plus, you can even log it afterwards.  |

I sure could tell that I hadn't ridden in a few weeks. Way harder than it should have been. My dad is out of surgery and recovering. Waiting for the pathology report to see what's next. Did a killer spin class at lunch. I think the instructor got up on the wrong side of the bed or broke some of his new years resolutions because he ran us ragged! Probably 40% of the ride was out of the saddle pumping as hard as I could... it was as if Dee was chasing me with a tazer. But a great workout to start off the year. No looking back now. For you peanut butter lovers... and cheese lovers... I stole one of my kid's string cheese sticks this morning and brought it to work for an afternoon snack. I AM NOW DIPPING THE STRING CHEESE IN THE PEANUT BUTTER!!! Does it get any better than this?!?!? If the spin instructor had been female, I'd have thought it was Mila. She enjoys torturing her classes. So, I should chase you with a taser for the rest of the month? OK. I can do that. |

Wanted to do 4 miles, didn't make it. Mile 1 - 9:04 Mile 2 - 8:56 Mile 3 - 8:48 .37 - 3:10 (machine times out) .45 - 5:01 (cool down) Enough with these "winter storms" already! I am SO ready for summer to come back! So the machine timed out on you? Sounds like my stationary bike yesterday. The stupid thing kept resetting itself. I thought about tossing it out the window. (Probably should have. Then I could have logged it as "weight training.") |
