Veteran 392 Calgary | Subject: RE: March CRUSHERS U-Pick It Challenge Well I'm hanging in. It's only Day 2. So far the fighting has been minimal but I've managed to keep us VERY busy and distracted ... tomorrow as well will be a busy day, and tomorrow night I will be introducing my boyfriend to my parents (EEK!) ... he will be joining us at dinner theatre - I am sure it will be fine. If nothing else, I get to sit next to this man I adore and eat food and watch theatre for a few hours. It's hard, not seeing him this week. ;-( I got my run in this morning, and will get my bike in tomorrow. The gym is my refuge. ;-) However food remains a huge issue. I had planned to make salad & salmon cakes for supper - but they don't want to eat! We went out for lunch (they had burgers & fries & shakes, I had salad) at 12:30-1:00-ish, and true to form they stuff themselves as full as they could, then decide they don't need to eat for the rest of the day ("we don't need supper, I'm still so FULL!" ... so I'll be cooking for myself tonight. Sigh. And they wonder why they don't have the energy to walk through IKEA without stopping to rest at least twice.

Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: March CRUSHERS U-Pick It Challenge I got some awesome earrings from my husband. He picked them up last weekend while he was in AZ so they're nothing you csoul find around here. Silver drops with opals and another stone. We went to PF Changs for dinner and it was YUMMY. I took 2 bites of cake and gave the rest to my daughters to eat. |

Master 1623 | Subject: RE: March CRUSHERS U-Pick It Challenge Rock climbing was so much fun today!! Conquered 3 boulder routes Then tried out a new route which was tough but I made it thanks to James and my instructor encouraging me and giving me pointers. Had to bring my right leg up way high then stand up on it and reach for one of the final handholds. It was scary!! I don't like having stand up on my legs and feel like there's not a handhold right there for me to grab but I'm very glad I did it. Slowly but surely getting better each week |

I have a feeling March is going to be a good month for everyone Good morning Rachel yaaaawn methinks maybe it's time for me to go to bed! Then again, if I stay up another hour, my friend/neighbour/triathlete Mark will be calling to see if I'm coming swimming (translation: get your azz out of bed and come swim with me in the cold, cold waters of Jimbaran Bay because I'm too chicken/smart to go by myself). We all know you don't sleep Yanti. Swim first, sleep later, thats my vote (mostly because I am awake and at work and am jealous of everyone with the option to sleep right now!). Yeah, well, didn't I shoot myself in the foot ... I decided to sleep, which was fine because I'd forgotten the mechanic was picking my car up to fix it in the morning. (Of COURSE the mech piglets come to you here ... ) And now I gotta go swim with a group at SIX A.M. for a coached workout. It gets worse. I'm the coach. Ummm ... that's about the time I'm having my nightcap ... Doesn't sound like fun. I would do better staying up all night than to try to get up in time to get ready for a 6 am swim thing. Don't you have some control over the time since you're the coach? I hope things worked out OK. |

It should help minimize the drama. |
