Well you know that.. and I know that.. but What will happen is the foo foo will run down hill and I will be blamed for not calling them (I never got a call in number so that would have been impossible anyway).

Robin.  sounds like you and i had very similiar days.

i cant even begin to describe what happened with one of my supervisors today.  im still trying to mentally sort it all out.  i was by far one of the most confusing situations/discussions ive had in a LOOOONG time.

and i wasnt even talking to a CLIENT.  id rather talk to THEM!  

alls i know is that i ended up in my other supervisors office (yes, i have two just to make things complicated) and i started BAWLING, heaving sobbing, BAWLING.

my 2nd supervisor was INCREDIBLY empathetic and helpful, thankfully (now which ones the therapist??) and is going to talk to supervisor #1 to set up a time when we can all meet together - me, supervisors 1&2 and the clinical director - and try and sort out whats gonna work for me moving forward.

they hired me to do one thing, and now because of series of events having NOTHING to do with me i have to do something else and im finding out quickly its NOT gonna work.

supervisor 2 reassured me that theres LOTS of opportunities within the organization so I shouldn't have to leave altogether and they 'owe' me in the sense that i was hired to do one thing, but i cant do what they hired me to do.....

see....CONFUSING ISNT IT?????

oh dear.

can someone send me some STABILITY STAT!!!!!!!!!

the upside is that i may end up being able to do what i think in the long run will work and be best for me and the boys....

good sleep was elusive unfortunately.

im hoping a run or a swim will help sort out the mental kinks.

im still working today but tomorrow and friday will be lighter days.

that will help, im sure.

im looking forward to the weekend, being away, catching my breath.

it will be a refresher for sure.

just need to make it through today.

one realization i did come to last night.

what happened yesturday was about HER ie the first supervisor and NOT me.

when you agree to discuss something that means you discuss it that doesnt mean that you make the decision for the person and then get angry when after they get all the details/information that you didnt have for them to begin with, they say they cant.

SO.

NOT.

MY.

PROBLEM.

and im REALLY REALLY GOOD at what i do.

i had job offers before this one.

i will have job offers after this one.
