I'll be doing my swimming in a lake, so I'm not sure how much I will get in. The college only has summer pool hours from 10am to 1pm. We can still give it a shot though. I do need to get in the water.
YES.. swimming is great. I need to get my butt in the lake ASAP |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Are Peachy in May! As good as swimming sounds, it has been anything but warm here. It rained/snowed over 2 inches this weekend in the valley. The headline of the paper today reads "Fresh powder wows on Memorial Day". Seriously. I thought I lived in the desert... LOL |

Hi Ann! Sounds like my kind of way to wind down after a good workout. Have a great time! Hi everybody else! Edited by givemashot 2011-05-31 2:29 PM |

The problem with a water fight is that everyone would just sit there and get wet. They don't fight back. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Are Peachy in May! Good morning Ghoulies! Sorry I missed everyone last night. We had a soccer game and it was 96 degrees. I was dumping water on my players every quarter. Instead of having them warm up, I had them sitting on the tailgate of my truck in the shade. We play a double header tonight, but it isn't supposed to be as hot. Have a slam dunk day everyone! |

Pro 4482 NJ | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Are Peachy in May! Made it back. Had a bit of drama when a 400+ lb man was seated in the center seat next to me. He didn't come close to fitting in one seat. It was also an emergency exit row. I seriously doubt he could get out the emergency exit without assistance, if at all. Flight attendents did nothing. I had half a seat at best. It was miserable. I finally moved to a center seat between two average size guys. They probably weren't thrilled but that's the way it rolled. It's not that I don't have some empathy but when I pay $1200 for a coach seat I expect to be able to occupy it alone. On today's list of 'to do's is a complaint to Continental. Now off for a quick shower and then work. |

sorry KIM for your sucktastic flight. dont blame you for complaining.
happy to report my oh so sick doggie is home and feeling MUCH better. i swear that vet hospital is the SADDEST place in the universe. people are SO emotional about their pets. i know i was. the thought of losing my doggie was so beyond devastating. my foremost thought was my boys. they love their JUNIPER! she seems back to her usual hijinxs. and she took her medicine this morning like a champ. she'll be taking predinsone 1x every day for the rest of her life. better that than something far worse and untreatable.
the boys are off to school and i have a decent morning on tap. meeting a client over breakfast and then heading back to the clients house for her daughters psych re-eval. she's one of the lucky ones who has a psychologist that does house calls. LOL.
then im off to the Y to run. no way am i gonna endure the heat and run outside. airconditioning is the way this Ghoulie rolls.
then its back home to for the AC repairman to put in a new circuit board (he graciously jerry rigged us up yesturday so we had AC last night) and then im off to two clients. one at home and then another at his ballgame. so i'll be roasting like the rest of Cranberry watching sports teams play tonight. its all good though. i really like when i can meet clients in the community. it does give me a feel for who they are in the 'real world'.... HAVE A HAPPY! stacieb |

HAVE A HAPPY! stacieb I think storms are supposed to roll through today then it's to be cooler this afternoon and this evening. I hope the storms go through early. We have 2 soccer games tonight, and my son's team plays tonight. His game decides if they will play in the tournament this weekend or not. If they don't play tonight the game will be decided by a coin toss. They've already played this team, and beaten them by several goals so I'd hate it to be decided that way.

Champion 6656 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Are Peachy in May! kns57 - 2011-05-31 12:18 PM Anne - the water fight sounds like it will be fun. I hope that you have got someone lined up with a camera to catch it on film. Melissa - SUNSCREEN!!! Say Hi to Neal and have fun at the race this weekend. Used to be called PIZZA and I guess in Iowa it's called a race. Amy - you better wake up that night owl, or he will really become a night owl. My son has the worst sleeping pattern, he can't seem to sleep at night, but has no problem with the day sleeping. Robin - sorry your crowd is too "old" for water fights. I say you should have them anyway. Kim - I hope you enjoyed San Francisco. I loved it when I lived out there.
As to me, my rear is sore. After 21 hours in the saddle this weekend, I have no desire to sit on a motorcycle or bicycle any time soon. The trip to Kentucky was awesome, the scenery was spectacular. I would do it again. Kendra, kendra, kendra...haha Sunscreen=sunscreen, race=race, sex=sex Haha |
