hahaha that made me literally laugh out loud. i love it.

i want to be one of those people though, who isn't driven only by a paycheck to work. i made a great living, i will miss the money for sure, until i find something new. but, it wasn't enough, at the end of the day.

hello TAN ...I'm home now.

I am really excited about the potential possibilities that await...I can't believe my boss cried. I can't believe this day. It was surreal, for sure. But, a relief in a sense. Now...I'd like to see what's out there to explore. I think I want out of this industry...I want to do something in the health field. Like be a buyer for a health food chain.

Wow, your attitude rocks. I am impressed. I was kinda wondering how it would happen, and it sounds like it went very well. I had a co-worker go through this about 18 months ago here, and another one about 6 months ago. Both are in much better places, because they chose to be. Some of it has been challenging for them to get to a better place, but attitude was the difference for them. I am hoping for the best for you.

thank you for saying this. it's been a long time coming. mentally have been preparing for it almost. like every week...i think...is THIS the week? terrible way to live.

someone i told at work today, said...wow...you would never know this just happened. it isn't 'good' news' ...i need to support my kids. but, it's definitely a weight being lifted off...and i can now focus with clarity of mind...and less stress...to find something that suits me better.

I'm sure that with the perspective you have, you'll find the best opportunity that is out there for you. A change into a different field is interesting (tough sometimes). I went from from restaurant to technology about 12 yrs ago and it has been rewarding. I am hoping you find what works for you. OK, I just re-read this and scored 2 squares in buzzword bingo. Ouch

Yeah, sit in a meeting and wait for people to use management speak. "Opportunity", "leverage", "synergy", etc. There are sites available on the net to make cards. I sat in a 2 hour meeting with both of my supervisors yesterday. The words are rattling around in my head still.

I am thinking that putting a refrigerator in my office was one of the worst ideas I have ever had. So far it's had root beer and the marshmellow filled, choclate covered Santas in it.

Now I'm embarassed.  I think my chatting about it has glorified the severity.

Seriously, this is NOT a big deal.  It's more of a nuisence, than a real scare.  In fact, if you are to ever get the "C", sign up for this one.  I think when people use the "c" word, it sounds scary.  But it's not that bad in all cases.

This is rediculously curable.  Just a little snip, removal, and super glue things back together.  A couple pills of kicked up iodine, then some very easy and standard pills to add in with my one-a-day vitamins.
