Great job by all our racers.

11:25 @IMLP is a great time. With those hills I'd be lucky to crack 12:30.

Michele - Great job on your first Oly! I will be joining you in a couple of weeks hopefully I slow down as well when grabbing my bottle. I try to do it on downhills or a good flat section so I don't lose to much speed. I am still not 100% confident when I reach down. Luckily I have had no issues yet.

Seriously what is with all the bike crashes???  A friend of mine crashed her 70.3 yesterday too and finished covered in road rash.

Oh and I didn't tell you guys, when I spectated Racine 70.3 last weekend, there is a hill right out of bike transition and most people had their gear in the highest gear.  It was like watching TdF all over only 20-30 feet from the transition line ... it was horrendous all the people that crashed ... like 30-40 people that I saw!!!

Oh, yeh, gotta start learning how to change tires again ... I offered to be the Sag person for a local tri coach and all her athletes going up to do the IMWI course this coming weekend.  I am interested in seeing what this big bad course is all about and the 3 B%*ches looks like ... it is still my goal to ride one loop this year.

I had another friend break her crash virginity this weekend on a century ride.  Crazy.

Does anyone else feel like you are constantly on the edge of ear infections from swimming? Maybe i am just getting water in my ears and not getting it all out.

Put a few drops of rubbing alcohol after you swim in your ears and then turn over on the opposite side to let drain. Then do the other, at least that helps me any way.

Carrie - do you swim with ear plugs? I have to or else I feel that way as well.

Jen - how is the packing??? I don't envy you - I am switching some bedrooms for the kids and just doing that is exhausting, I can't imagine packing it all up and moving!

I know this guy, he's from CT and got out of the IMLP swim after one loop (a 38 minute swim time).  Fought with the officials and inisted that he swam 2.  Appearantly he has a long history of fabricating results.  I just don't get it.

I would offer for folks to stay at my house if they did Eagleman but it is still a two and half hour ride from my house with no traffic which doesn't happen in the DC area haha.

If you feel the need to do something like that come out of the water at like 1:05 or something.

Swam inside this morning due to a thunder and lightening storm. First time in 6 weeks my swim hasn't been an OWS and I have to say I hated it. I'm sure I'll get back in the groove of swimming inside when the weather turns cold but I've grown to really enjoy being outside.

So I read Swim Speed Secrets over the weekend and started to address my pulling issues on Monday.  It said I'd be sore but after this morning I'm pretty much destroyed in my shoulders and back.  Whoa.
