I did half an hour on the bike at the gym today.  Not nearly as nice as the trainer, but I had to go in to work today so this was the best option for getting a workout in.

I did 52.93km today. I am now a member of the HIT BY A CAR CLUB!

Got sideswiped by a UTE. ;_; my arse is kinda sore where I was hit but amazingly after getting pushed off the road I kept upright! The bike and I made it! We didn't fall. My arse feels violated though.

I must admit a passerby would have thought I was suffering from Turrets syndrome. My mother would've been embarrassed. LOL

Got caught in the rain 1km from my paren't place so I pulled in and played with my dog until the rain stopped.

Dropped my chain in the middle of the intersection where I wrote off my car a few years ago.

Pretty crummy ride actually! LOL And It was such a great day! The view of the bay at Wello was gorgeous though. That was worth it.

Mesteren Yes you are definatley extreme riding through that!  OMIGAWD!!!

Hey Peeps!  Mestersen - I'd say you deserve a day off!

Pool was closed due to the bad weather, so I did a weight workout here at home then ran 3.5 miles.

Light_sab_r - I hit my first car this past New Year's Eve in my own neighborhood.  I had the sun behind me and a college student was coming towards me and turned left; she never saw me.  I slammed on my brakes, laid my bike down and rolled into her car with my head.  I was okay, she apologized.  I could have done the same thing.

That is some pretty hard core riding (In the Snow). Could not even begin to imagine what it is like to try and stay upright and mobile in conditions like that. (especially with the bike constantly getting heavier as the ice builds up)

Great job on the race Kel

I am up super early thanks to Daylight Savings to head down to the cove for an Open Water Swim. Had to skip my normal Friday swim and today is a makeup. I think the plan is to do something ~1.5 miles and then a transition run through La Jolla.

Planning on a ride late this afternoon. Since it is now dark an hour later, I am hoping to get some rides in after work now.

The mtn biking in the snow isn't really hard.  It is tooling around our flat backyard.  But yeah, it does require a lot more effort than dry trail riding.  We do have a semi-natural halfpipe at the back of our lot.

3/4 of the snow is melted and it is pushing 50 degrees and sunny!

Got a schwimmy-swim in today.

Hi all,

I am back at work for another nightshift. 3 more to go (including this one) and then I get 4 days off (where I have to fly to Germany) and then 2 weeks without evening shifts

Today was my 5th bike ride this week and thats means I rode 5 times this week and this was probably just due to this challenge good idea to join

I felt really blah yesterday and did not want to exercise at all but I though I can always do just 10K on the trainer and as my nice hubby put my bike on the trainer I just did it....

Spinning today with the TRI-Club and it was lots of fun. As usual lots of standing and heavy cycling.

Hope you all had a good weekend

It wasnt a company ute was it? You could at least report the company to the police....

If it was I couldn't see the company details either.  It was just a "white ute"

You imagine trying to track ONE ute down in the entire greater brisbane area.  O_O
