Drove home in horrible traffic for an hour (my normal commute is 20 min). Put in a load of laundry. Frank got home and decided to take me out on the goldwing. OMG We went and I did okay. So now he wants me to go on a long ride Monday with a group.  Got home to see last 5 min of AI and see David Cook win. Got on jammies, climbed into bed and the phone rang. It was our son. He had locked himself out of the car and had no money to pay anyone to come. So, back on with the clothes, drive a little over an hour to get to him and then a little over back. Got back into bed about 12:15 and had to read for a while because we were both so wired. Tonight I get to work. Edited by kns57 2008-05-22 10:07 AM |

My daycare forgot to pick up Elder Monkey from school today. I got a call after 20 minutes because she was the only one still there and she was crying. GRRR! I usually love my daycare, but this is outrageous. OK, I feel better to get it out. I got my neoprene jacket last night and REALLY want to go jump in the outdoor pool, but dread the thought of exactly how COLD it will be... boiler isn't working yet, 50 degrees outside and raining. Have bike clinic tonight, worried we will have to cancel ride afterwards becasue of rain... Lots to do, so you won't see much of me today... Have a great day... |

My first tri is 10 days away. oh boy. I am so not ready. My hubby's in Madagascar (yes, I know that 's the other side of the world from where I am), and won't be back in time for the race. My kids are out of school for the next 3 weeks, and I've just been working and trying to get some better training in. Oh, and did I mention that my 6 yr old went missing for almost an hour while I was at work Monday night? Fun times, fun times.... Good luck with your tri training. It must be pretty difficult trying to get out and train with hubby traveling... |

We have been signing them up like crazy for the summer reading program here at the library. This is the time of year I really like. We are usually busy all day long and not just in the evenings.
