Congrats Comet,  I thought maybe she signed you up for a race or something.

38.  Never been seasick, but I think that would be real bad in an OWS.  Some people wear ear plugs.  Let us know when you have a plan.  There are some good free ones on this site.  Oh yeah.  Welcome back and glad you had fun and didn't eat too bad.

Morning, Skinnies.

I covered my eyes and stepped on the scale today. Last week did some damage.

But I'm back! And I'm going to eat well!

Promise.

Joining the Team Skinny thread for the first time.  Good morning.  I know it is mid month, but someone mentioned that this is a good place for support and help.

My goal for June is to get down to 195 by 6/30.  Last Sunday I was 203.  right now I am about 199.  I am a compulsive over eater.  If I start eating it is very difficult for me to stop.  So control is a never ending balance.  I am currently doing P90 workout program and watching closely what I eat.

Welcome! The support is great here...under the capable hands of our fearless leader Saling!

Oh, and Josh knows a lot about P90...the rest of us are just inspired by his progress.

Glad to have you!

OK, so I'm a little behind in context, but I don't even want to tell you what I imagined when I read the last line.

Morning, Josh! Were you dehydrated last time you weighed?

Every weds, we post our weights in relation to our monthly goals, try to support (encourage, motivate) each other. And also hold ourselves accountable for what we eat, and sticking with our training. You'll find we're pretty laid back, like to have fun, and overall we're a pretty crazy group. You're gonna like it here. WELCOME!!!

Could have been, I think it was 188.2, then the following day went further down to 187.2, so... I haven't had any lack of motivation on staying true to sensible eating (no faults or slipups), Hmmm???

And I meant the breed of dog! (Boxers) A friend I went to school with had a boxer named Abby, such a sweet dog, very playfull.

And as for P90, He got the program from me. Since Team Skinny has inspired me over the past few months to help keep others motivated, as I find motivation in that, I thought since I did well, I could pay it forward. He paid for the shipping, but donated the program to him. He's doing very well, and I expect he'll have as much success if not more!!!

Not sure about the "if not more"  But I do wish I could run right now...injured Achilles tendon is keeping me from my drug habit (running)

Alright, I have to go take a nap, I got about 4 hrs of sleep last night trying like hell to finish up this qtr (school). I think I still made the deans list but not a 4.0 (grades--A, B). Then I had to get up at 5:30 am and meet a delivery guy who was dropping off lumber for the second half of the project my dad and I are working on (deck, about 2 tons of it). My eyes are burning right now, and I'm getting pretty hungry though my next scheduled meal isn't for another 1.5 hrs. Then later tonight I go back to building the deck as working in the middle of the heat just sucks and zaps more energy, which could be more efficiently used. So off I go...

Accountability

Breakfast: 1/4 cp cereal (Kellog's Protein Plus)
1/2 cup Milk (2%)

Snack: Banana, and handful of almonds
20 oz. Water

Lunch is coming up, probably do a Protein shake, and some Fat Free Greek yogurt with sliced strawberries... I don't know, we'll see.

Endorphins, runner's crack!!! Ha Ha!

Hey, I'm addicted to that too. I love running. The swimming & biking I do to get to the running part. If they put the running at the beginning, I'd never reach the finish line.

Yesterday I was hungry ALL day! I wanted ice cream and even though I had some in the fridge, I had yogurt instead. Not quite as emotionally satisfying, but it definitely did the trick physically. And today I passed up free pizza here at work to go to Subway. Not too bad for me

Awesome job...I too, looked temptation today in the "mouth" so to speak and resisted the Tortino's Pizza rolls (in mom's fridge) as an add on to my small lunch..I, instead, went and bought an apple.

Welcome Runningwoolf- you definitely chose the bestest Team ever but you probably know that already

Some of you might have a vague recollection of my disastrous attempt to join Limerick Tri Club (my local one), well it didn't happen so I decided to try Nenagh club (40mins drive) and having first swimming workout tomorrow. Now the whole point of me saying all this is that something very nice happened today. When enquiring about possibly joining the club I was talking to Joe and got a message from him today telling me about a Sprint race in July and that he told the lads I'll be coming tomorrow for the first time. He also asked me to let him know how I got on. I think it was very nice nice of him. Can't wait till tomorrow- that club might be a good place to get back to my routine (and shape) especially with my first tri being 3 months away.

Great Ceade I hope you found a good Tri club.  Don't forget us when you get famous.

Runningwoof:  I won't hold it against you that you know Josh.  Welcome to Team Skinny.  We have a little experience in a lot of areas so feel free to ask about anything (almost).

Josh,  To GAIN 4 pound in a day you would have to eat approx. 16000 calories in a day.  Good luck with that and let me know how it goes.  It would be about 3 gallons of chocolate chop ice cream.

Ya'll are doing great with the temptations.  Do that for a few days then indulge A LITTLE to get the monkey off your back.

I am not a runner but I can't wait to get back out and run.  I am doing my best to give my knee 1 more week then start all over again...sigh.  I look forward to those 10-12 mile runs and was looking to run 20 in the near future.  Dang,  I better get in the pool.

Pshaw. I believe last week I did eat 16000 calories in a day.

Oh, hush - you are a runner. I know it. You know it. You might as well admit it to the world (or at least the Skinnies).
