Saling, Comet, Kromanowski and Toader:  Thanks for all of the well-wishes.  My race report is now up if you want a good laugh.

Comet:  I hope the doc can figure out what's up with the knee.  Man, knee pain sucks!

Cead:  Congratulations on finishing your first tri!  Savor every moment, every feeling.  I'll check out your RR and comment over there.

Tricupcake:  I sure hope the doc can make a determination about your knee problem.  I'm sorry you're having a bad time right now.  I am sending you an air-hug.

Josh:  Sorry to hear about your training delays and the electricity.  I think everyone in our state got hit badly.  Ours went out Sunday at 4 and came on this morning around 5:30.  Others are not so lucky.

Brooke:  It definitely sounds like it's a good thing you didn't catch those little bleeps.  I would have been livid!

I stepped on the scale this morning. It wasn't nice.

Why oh why????

But it doesn't count 'cause it isn't Wednesday. Maybe I'll lose a gazillion pounds by tomorrow.

At least your scale isn't playing cruel tricks on you. I was down to 213 today. I attribute it to the twinkie and Hostess cupcake dinner I had last night. I'm sure the scale will be taking its revenge tomorrow.

Oh no - twinkies & Hostess cupcakes???

Don't you know that only Little Debbie dinners are allowed? (Right, Sherm???)

Josh,  If you get back on here sometime:  With p90x did you use dumbells or bands?

Both. Bands are great for an upper back, shoulders, and arms workout, as well as if you don't have the bells. The bells however, allow for greater mobility and increased range of motion. As I don't have a pull up bar, and didn't want to amass tons of plates, I keep a small set of bells that equal up to 25 lbs, and use the band for my back, and shoulders.

Yeah, my cable, phone, internet finally came backk on last night about 10pm only to find that it was out again in the morning. School finally opened back up though. What really sucked was power was intermittent about 10 miles in all directions from downtown Dayton. Which means all stoplights are treated as 4-ways... Can you say, "clusterf_ck"

Yeah, slowly but surely! Sometimes a little too slow for my taste. I can't even run my normal routine, for fear of falling branches. Alas, hopefully next wk, will bring a renewed spirit.
