Those will no doubt kick my (more the latter than the former). Tonight, I start my meditation class so I can become a member of the zendo. I've been meditating since 2005, but I finally decided to take the leap.

I love water aerobics...the classes are usually fun  I think you get a really good workout without too much aftershock to the body.

ok all caught up...not that there was much to catch up on! Common Warriors where is your chattiness???? this is what really motivates me to do better...having all of you to report to! As for me today has....possably an hour spin class(might have to sub next week and want to know how she does her hour class) if the bikes are full then I will run for the hour(yesterdays run that I didn't get to) teach water, then yoga then back to teach water, swim, home to get dinner ready back at a different pool for 2 more water classes....good times!

I don't start work today until mid morning and then only for a few hours.  I get off early, so I will do a run around the lake ... about 5 miles.  Then I will go help out some friends tonight move some stuff around.  Actually a pretty slow day today which I will enjoy

Everything's fine...I just got out of the house a little later than I wanted -- which meant I got to the pool too late to get in an 1800 yard workout before work...mea culpa...

Oh my!!!  Baby growth spurt has me planted on the couch!!!  I feel like he's a newborn right now!!!  I'm exhausted!!!!  Hopefully I can get my planned trainer ride done today.  (If I get on the bike for 20 minutes I'll be happy!)

I have been swimming with a local tri team on Monday and Thursday evenings. These aren't part of my challenge goals though. If some of the people on our team aren't posting their workouts the captain should contact them and if they don't respond they get cut. Check with D001 Dee on that.


Not sure if we have a captain or not but I can take on that role. I talked to Dee about Mekira since she hasn't had anything in her log and such. That is why she is greyed out on the spreadsheet so she won't affect our team total.

Got a walk and core in today. And the best news came this morning. I am down to 139.8 on the scale. The first time in three years that I have been in the 130s. I know this because I was 143 when I moved from Alaska to Oklahoma and have never seen the 130s since. I am stoked.. Wha hoo... Only 4.8 to go to goal..

You will get there. You just had a little one. Mine was 3 years of not really caring since it was just a couple lbs here or there. Then hubby's doctor suggested we cut down the calories a bit by reducing sugar and fat. I haven't had anything with sugar (except fruits/veggies etc) that have had sugar in them since Xmas Day. It has been tough - the other day I had a bad day and wanted a big bowl of ice cream but we didn't have any. Hubby and I have been going for almost 3 weeks and no one has cheated. At this point it is the "I don't want to be the one that cheats first game". It has made hubby drop almost 16 lbs and he is doing great. He is finally seeing that losing the weight he feels better, he can now wear his military blues without being sucking it in. So hopefully in a couple weeks when we take what we learn and start adding fat/starch/sugar back in slowly that we realize we didn't need as big of portions for him and I didn't need to eat that peanut granola bar that wasn't the best for more or the chocolate and nut trail mix and if I do I have a small portion not the 3 serving size bag.. So we will see. I haven't had a problem maintaining before so I hope I and hubby don't either. But I have to admit right now it is nice to be at this weight.

You will get there. I know you will.

130's is only a dream for me! I was there once.....a very long time ago! Even with all I do I still struggle with my weight! I have been with weight watchers since Nov. 2007, hit lifetime in Nov. 2008 with a Dr. note to go 5lbs over their recommended weight. I still have a hard time keeping in my 2lb range! I have lost 17 lbs but have gone down from a size 16 to a 6/8 depending on the pants. but the number on the scale is still not where I want it to be...165. would love to see the 150's at least!


Kim - but you are still working on that and that is a good thing for you. What I found interesting is that I am 138.8 as of today (5'7" trying to get to 130-135) and I am in a size 7/8. You are in the same size as I am so do you have a lot of muscle weight? You will get to the 150's as active as you are. Weight has always been a struggle for me as well as self perception but I am working on it.

Sorry for no chatty yesterday (not that I am ever chatty) - Life got in the way yesterday so I took the first rest day (my rest from the little I do) of the month. Back on the wagon today to keep this going.

Oh goodness - that is late. Please be careful.

It was just a bump.  Nothing serious.  It's not unexpected to have them for a week after the main one.  I had just picked up a crying baby from his crib.  We moved to a doorway just in case.  I swear he knew it was coming!
