See...at my house the utensils mainly used are spoons! Old school!!! Straight out of the jar, one spoon at a time!

Don't worry folks, I know some may get freaked out about the double-dipping thing but remember, i am single! That jar is mine and mine only!!!

A scoop a day of extra crunchy Jif !!! Ok, Ok, to be honest it is two scoops!

Welshy would really like to know if you were wearing a camisole.

I'm sorry...my kid is sitting here saying..."Why are you laughing so hard, mommy????"

I saw Welsh's first post and laughted...saw his second and thought..."poor bastard hit the "reply" button one too many times....saw the third and the giggles started....too freakin' funny.....

As for the answer...it's 80+ degrees out here folks and I've got one spoon in the PB jar and one spoon in the blackberry preserves....you bet your sweet A** I'm wearing a camisole!

HEY RON!!! Does that offer of the room at your place in Ohio next to the refrigerator stocked with beer and pb still stand? With that whole California/Texas thing going on we may be relocating to Ohio....

My first post ever on this site, and where better to put it than the peanut butter thread.

Hello, I'm Melody and I'm a peanut butter addict. As we speak, there are two economy size jars of reduced fat Jif creamy in my cabinet and a jar of almond butter in the fridge.

It's my weakness. And I like it old school, too. Two slices of whole wheat bread, at least a tablespoon of PB, slap 'em together and OH MY!

Oh, I'd go BIG if I ate the full fat version! I've been known to polish off one of those big jars in three days, so it's the best option for me. Plus, I've lost 115 pounds since June 2002, and I'm fighting to lose the last 20 or so. Peanut butter is not helping me!!!

Amen! I was at the store last night and saw the Low Carb Peanut Butter. I had to pick it up -- it was like watching a train wreck. I had trouble finding the word "peanuts" in the ingredients list. Plus, I didn't know peanuts had carbs.

The very best PB I've ever had was a sample of freshly ground spanish peanuts at the local specialty store. I must have used up 5 of those little wooden spoons! It was even better than pigging out in their cheese section, where I can do some serious damage! (Nancy, that's the Molsberry's in Larkfield.)

my husband isn't even willing to let the unsalted stuff enter our home, much less the diet stuff. our family favorite - woodstock farms organic crunchy peanut butter. its on sale at the co-op right now so we bought 4 jars of the stuff!

Had my staple tonight...two soft pieces of stone ground wheat bread and a big ol' tablespoon of peanut butter. Washed it down with a cold glass of Silk Organic Soy Milk.

Yum.

I thought that we had been through this.  Peanut Butter had the good kind of fat - the God-made kind.  It is good for us, especially since we are active people.  That's right, I said that God invented Peanut Butter for the betterment of society and triathletes everywhere!

And Tom and Nancy, I hate to be the voice of reason, but haven't I read somewhere that relationships that are based on a mutual addiction, er, love of Peanut Butter are doomed to failure?  Wasn't that in a movie somewhere?
