There will be NO Robin assatar posted if I have to crawl with head bandaged! Happy Birthday, Tom! Wow, they are moving quickly Robin. Hope that all goes well on Wednesday and that your recoup time is not too bad. |

Still on the hot side, but not as hot as it had been, although I think this week will be in the 90's again. Had fun on Friday trying to get the teens to leave the library parking lot. There was a home football game that night, so they all thought they could just hang out at the library. Nope, sorry, we close at 3pm. A police car fortunately came by about 3:15 and that helped to move them along. |

Better to get this over with. The bad news is that my DH bought a TI swim clinic for me in October and there is no way I can do it. Swimming is banned for a while. Hopefully they will let me reschedule it. |

I survived the swim, which was a huge success given the fact that I had only swam twice in the preceding 4 weeks. I got to ride the course too. It was definitely as hilly as they say it is. I rode the first loop and then about 10 miles out on the stick and then back to the start of the loop. Refueled and then took off on the second loop. About 10 miles down the road I took a wrong turn and ended up off course a ways. By the time I made it back on I was already well over 90 miles for the day so I just headed back to the car, finishing at around 105 miles. Kinda bummed I didn't get the full second loop in, but still a good training day. My legs felt fantastic yesterday. Best recovery I've had post-century. Look at the bright side, you got to ride the course. You also got 105 miles in on a training day, that's not too shabby. YOU WILL ROCK IMMOO!!!!! How many days left until your IM? 20  You are going to rock it! Looking forward to watching your results as they come across. Got your number yet? |
