I'm not doing so hot today but I have to remember recovery is not always linear and overall it's getting much better. I told you guys I have chikungunya, right? This is not news? My brain is fuzzy and I keep forgetting who I've told or not. I missed that in the flurry of postings I'm afraid. I knew you were under the weather but missed the specifics - speedy recovery! I'm not even sure I posted it here--I think I lost it in th flurry of postings too ha ha ... but thank you and i will! |

I had a ride this morning in 35degree F weather that could have scored me some good points and I thought well better get the thread going. I will be working on the spreadsheet in the next couple of days. Just as a warning you 2 I have a Salsa MukLuk snowbike on order so I plan on getting so major points and might even ride it to Alaska to ensure victory this winter - LOL I saw 35 degrees and hot came to mind... *consulting google... Oooh, you meant 1.6 degrees celcius, I see! That is getting pretty cold! Where the heck are you located? Just googled my location... it's 3 degrees now. Nevermind. |

Since I got the accessories I have to see the whole thing together. Speaking of challenge, yesterday I did 20 min of strength training and on the menu for today is more strength training and 4km run. However, I injured myself on the first time 10km run on Sunday and while I'm pretty much healed I'm being careful... So when I log my run and it's SUPER slow you know why. I'm going to try my best and prevent further problems. I need orthotics. |

Just south of you in Western New York So we will be pretty much sharing weather for the challenge, but YOU have a snow bike... Damn. Maybe I will risk my neck and take my mountain steed out when it's not known to be icy. It's the "not known to be icy" part that scares me. I need to see how the challenge is rated to determine my potential success. Of course I will participate anyway! You need someone to beat. |
