Hi Tom!!!!!

This is a fly by. I won't be around. I am pulling a "Kim" and doing a bit of travelling. Home again Wednesday evening.

Have wonderful, Gholulish, days.

We went out to dinner last night. The food was fine. The restaurant was bad. The music was loud and it sounded like a speaker was blown. Several people complained, and they turned it off for a few minutes, but then they turned it back on.

Good Morning Ghoulies!  I have most of today off.  I am having lunch with DH and have to work late afternoon but other than that, my day is free. 

I need to do a run but my shoes are so shot that I hesitate to use them.  My feet have really hurt after the last few runs and last time I even started to get blisters!  That just doesn't usually happen.  I go get new shoes on Thursday, but if I don't run until then I will be behind. 

Ooops, I'm a day late but the wishes are sincere!

Oh wow Ann.  That would be scary!  I am so glad that she is okay, but I am sorry that you had such an awful hunt/hike looking for her!  I hope that you don't have any ill effects from all the crud you had to hike thru.

I showered as soon as I got home so I'm hoping I can avoid getting poison. I plan on being more careful with her from now on. I just feel bad for her that she can't be a dog and run.

It's good, I suppose. No complaints, really. The air quality in the valley this morning is questionable, though. I can barely see across (it's about 20 miles across). Then again, the humidity is around 80%, and this is supposed to be desert. My son thinks it's just fog. Do you think he's right?

I'm not sure. It smelled like a campfire n my part of the valley last night--but then again it is the season for using those backyard fire pits. And lots of the neighbors have them. All I know is the sight of it worries me. We've had good air quality most of the summer--I really want it to stay that way.

Anything on the news about a fire? I have smelled the smoke from wild fires and it is a very eerie smell.

There is a fire in Northern NC/Southern VA and the winds were blowing this weekend that the smoke was all the way up in Baltimore, MD.
