Almost 1/3 of the way through O&G...slowly making it through...2 more weeks after this week on Obs and then 2 weeks in the OR on gyne. Slowly becoming less incompetent with pap smears. Why the eff is the cervix so friggin hard to find?? Its amazing how quickly you become desensitised to doing pelvic exams though...meh. Lol.

Feeling a bit better today finally. Actually feeling hungry today. Still can't eat that much though before I've had enough. Which I guess isn't exactly a  bad thing. Haha

Is anyone out shopping today? There is nothing I need at a store at 4am. Coming home from my sister's last night we saw people standing in line at Target. It was only 6:30. THAT IS INSANE!

I cannot imagine spending any part of today shopping. I try to do as much of my shopping at local stores. I adore Christmas shopping in the towns around here. They all have special bags, there is music, people are nice and friendly and you get things that not everyone in the country has.

We are turning the house into a Christmas wonderland today. (I hope) and getting ready for Jim's art show tomorrow. He is displaying his photos with several other artists tomorrow.

Back in the saddle this am. Good thing we got the outdoor decorating done. And some fun stuff in there too. Rainy and getting cold again. I guess I can't complain, since it is almost December!!!!

Happy to see you were finally able to successfully post, Jules.

So how was everyone's weekend? After 6 days off of work I did NOT want to come back today. I have most of my shopping done. I got some wrapping done yesterday, that is my least favorite holiday chore. I have a few gift cards to pick up, then I'm done.

We got our tree on Friday. It has become a holiday tradition to go with several members of my husband's family and pick out our tree the day after Thanksgiving. We normally get somewhere around a 10' tree. This year our tree is between 4'-5'. We have it sitting on a table in the corner where we normally put it. With having Milo's gigantic crate, and 2 big dogs in the living room I didn't think it was safe to get a big tree this year. Hopefully next year there will be enough puppy out of them that the tree will be safe. I tried talking the kids into getting a potted tree we could plant in the yard after Christmas. My daughter wanted to, but my son doesn't like change. Oy.

Oh No! I am getting a cold.

Why would someone give you that for Christmas?

And here I thought I had been a pretty good girl.
