Subject: RE: What do you guys do for a living?I am the business mail manager for a physician recruiting firm. I saw that there are alot of doctors on here. If you are looking to change positions let me know. Just kidding (kindof )
I used to be a music teacher at a small rural school. It didnt pay well and it was a 70 mile a day commute, so I decided to find a new job. I used to work 60-70 hours a week and have to think about my job constantly. Now I work 40 hours (not a minute more ), I dont have to think about it outside of work, and I get paid more. Cant beat it.
I do miss teaching so I plan on starting my Masters Degree sometime in the near future, so that when I go back, I can be more selective in where I teach.
Right now I train at 6AM before my wife and baby have to go to work. I also train during lunch and sometimes at night after the baby goes to sleep. I havent gotten really hard into training yet cause I just started (currently on Couch to 5k and ride my mountain bike a few times a week ) But as soon as december roles around, I struggling to find enough time to train, I would imagine. We will have to see.
