Every time is below 80 here, which is A LOT! soon as my kids are old enough to fly independantly.....I am out. I really want to move to Denver, Phoenix or Albuquerque. My wife doesn't. why not? i am stuck here for a few more years while the husby finishes grad school, but after that i think we are both ready for a transplant. i'm actually hoping to move to another country for a few years at that point, just because. She doesn't want to be further away from her family. I would love to move to another country for a few years. That definitely isn't happening, so I've lowered my sights to the southwest. you probably knew that when you married her, though? Yeah. It's not really that big of a problem. I just happened to fly through Denver last weekend on the way to Arkansas and started daydreaming again. I know the feeling. I will probably be applying to jobs in Chicagoland when I get back! i think chicago is the only non-coastal city i would move to in the US. i lof it there. |

Panera here just started their breast cancer awareness promotion. They give a portion of the proceeds from the special bagels they make to the cancer center I work at. The research VP brought in a whole bunch this morning and left them in the break room for everyone. I tried to resist but the smell of those bagels toasted almost made me lose my mind. |

(in my top 3 places across the street from work) Yum and YUM! My mom-in-law is really sweet. She gave us (over the course of a year) $75 worth of gift cards. ummm, we don't have Panera... in AZ...at all. They bought a chunk of another cafe/bakery called Paradise Bakery and won't put in competition. Sucks. I thought it was just our small town. Got all excited to find one up in Phoenix one day. Was a very disappointing afternoon to say the least! Had to use them when we went back to KS for J's HIM. Bought everyone lunch with the cards... and m-i-l tells me thank you. Sure, anytime. hahahaha Shoot next time you can send them to me.
Toasted bagel after shave - check |
