Subject: RE: Jszat's Group- fullI am getting back into it after the craziness of the birthday's and holiday in March.
Planning wise I am still trying to fully integrate the training plans into my schedule (vacations days, races, heavy work weeks, etc. )... Go time is April in order to be ready for the HIM in August.
Looking forward I am a little nervous about the 2-a-days that I will need to throw in just because I don't want to injure myself, but it should be a great time.
The other concern is I have a vacation booked on July 27-Aug 3 and then the HIM is Aug 24. Its placement absolutely sucks because it is 4 weeks from the HIM but it may very well be nice to have a recovery week before 2 weeks of taper. I couldn't book it prior because the wife is going to taking a college course... So I will have to make due. The resort at least has a gym but 90min runs on a tready or a spin in Cancun on vacation don't sound like a good morning to me. The gigantic pools though will be like an open water swim though, right?
I really think the HIM is do-able I just need to suck it up and stick to my plan. Should be great time. Base period here I come. |
