Hmm...we have cheesecake, jambalaya and mudslides. What kind of side dish can I make that would go with those things? There is going to be a very interesting combination of food.

I do some good stuffed mushrooms - can I make those?

Sounds good. that's funny because I had actually thought of making some of those before I decided to do the cheesecakes. am sure yours are better. mine are simple... mushrooms, bulk sausage, plum duck sauce. simple but yummy.

I've done a few variations, but the good ones are serrano ham, parm cheese, I think another kind of cheese, white wine, sour cream and the usual breadcrumbs, parsley and salt and pepper. They're ridiculously good/

good.  then make 'em.

Ok, on Shrove Tuesday (yes, I know what Shrove Tuesday is) you were saying how you'd be able to have mudslides during Lent because the chocolate was on the outside of the glass.  Now it's that you've not given up Hershey's Syrup.  Next thing, you'll be saying how you omitted from your fast men covered in fudge.

Ok, I have just about had it with this effing scrolling.

Saturday night at Shelly's, we will all make a final post to this thread
and I will start a new one for a new holiday.

Among the April candidates:

Pony Express Day: 3
World Rat Day: 4
Tangible Karma Day: 5
Barbershop Quartet Day: 11
"Louie Louie" Day: 11
That Sucks Day: 15
Blah! Blah! Blah! Day: 17
Cow Chip Day: 19
World Tai Chi & Qigong Day: 26
Hairball Awareness Day: 29
Spank Out Day: 30

I am leaning towards Blah! Blah! Blah! Day.  Any votes?  Although I like the idea of the That Sucks Day thread as well.

It fits very well with the content of the thread, I thought.  I think we have 3 votes.  I have to call some of the superdelegates and see if I can get them over to our way of thinking.
