It wasnt a company ute was it? You could at least report the company to the police....

If it was I couldn't see the company details either.  It was just a "white ute"

You imagine trying to track ONE ute down in the entire greater brisbane area.  O_O

Umm yeah..... good thing you are ok!

Great job, Joblin!!!  Way to go!  Our team is SO kicking tail!  We have a great team and everyone is so supportive!

An opportunity arose this afternoon to knock out another 10 bike miles after the swim.   It was mid-50's temp-wise and sunny with no wind.  Duh!  I'm at 52% and the team is at 37%.  My training plan (Oly x2) called for 137 bike miles this month.  I upped it to 150 for the challenge.  Now I'm over 50% at the end of the 1st week.  But biking is my strongest of the 3 disciplines.

I'd like to increase my goal from 150 (miles) to 250 for the challenge.  I'm not getting a lot of trail practice in, yet, due to the weather.  With the extra hour or so of daylight, I know I'll be gettting more road miles in.  Maybe this coming weekend I can get some trail miles in for the upcoming race.

Dadgum UTEs'!  Glad you are okay!  Mine was a college girl in a Saturn.  She lives in our neighborhood, used to babysit for us... Yes I wanted to blow my stack, but I realized I couldn't have seen a bicyclist coming towards me with the sun behind him/her.  Again, glad you are okay!

Go Peep Army!

Well... I'm not going to be biking outside any time soon... either on the road OR the trail. Just a little too much snow received lately. Check the pics taken from our house today (Sunday for those on the other side of the world).

http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/photos/photo-thumbnails.asp?albumid=8084

Today... I'm at 80 min of shovelling... 35 min on the bike... 30 min running outside on the roads. That puts me at 38.4% done... and 36.3% for the team.

Hope everyone is having (or had) a great weekend.

OMG, THAT you can really call snow

Seriously!!  Don't you hate it when the snow piles get too high to shovel more snow on top?!  Enough is enough already, eh?

Compared to what you (in Colorado) and the Bop'ster go through, our 3'' drifting to 5" seems very, very paltry.

I hope spring comes for all of us SOON!!!!

Wish I was sleeping in -- daylight savings is making me tired   Hoping to get a long run in after work since it will be light til almost 7:30.  Then off to the pool.

Supposed to hit 60 degrees tomorrow so biking at lunch -- woo hoo!!  Sorry, Kevin

Hi Gang,

did a very easy spin on the trainer this afternon. I really needed to study as well so I combined both and I can´t believe how fast the time flew. I had to go very easy though and some markings in the book that I tried to make did not land on the right spot LOL

Swim training later...

Hi everyone,

I'm back. In fact I  got back yesterday but I hadn't been home long  when I was informed that I needed to play Netball (Sort of Women's basketball that we play here in Aus and  some other Commonwealth Countries). Well, it was a fast and furious game with me in the Centre. Consequently I'm wrecked so I'm having an unscheduled rest day today. Still unpacking etc.

Camping was wonderful. Managed to squeeze in a 11km run and a strenuous 4.5km(2hr) walk in a very spectacular part of Victoria, Halls Gap.

Looks like everyone has been doing well. Good work.
