So I have picked 20 sessions for my goal....20 just seemed to pop into my head and thats what I went with...which we will decide in about two weeks if that was insane or not... I'm not doing my half marathon till May and I'm FREAKING out!...(I just may be an overanalyzer...) Also I need something to keep myself pre-occupied outside of school....not that I'm complaining about all this free time...but it is giving me a tad bit too much time to ponder what a doctor should be and should know and I'm freaking myself out...so I need to channel the freaking myself out into something...and I picked running!!! TADA!!!! I did get to shadow a doctor yesterday though (because I know I'm making med school out to be a total downer) which was super exciting! Yay for scabies, URTI's, and gout!!!! (Ok maybe not yay for all of you....but yay for me!) by May..you will be running circles around those other HM runners! what is your distance you run now? Ummm...I'd say about 10km's...I think I'm gonna try and bust out a 10miler though this month (I think 10miler sounds easier than 15km's....I'm a Canadian, eh? so I can just pretend that I don't actually know how long a 10miler is... ) |

I love the mini reese's cups. So much so, that I will NOT buy them to hand out. They would be gone before the first kid utters trick or treat. Also really like Smarties. I used to like smarties. Then a couple of my friends at work decided it would be a good idea to hide them all over my cubicle one time when I was on vacation. I was finding smarties in the oddest places for about a year. |

Oh YES!!! I neeeeeeed music to train...I definately don't to race...for some reason the conversations I have with myself in races are enough to keep me going...but not so much in training... my latest running playlist...which I so creatively labelled RUN! is a mix of...the universal necessity Lady Gaga---basically I just need to hear "poker face" and I'm good to go...some britney, some bon jovi, some rocky soundtrack selections (No Easy Way Out is my personal fav), some cuban music, some james blunt, maroon 5...and selected others!!! Kinda random...but its all good! I also like doing iTread workouts...they are just kinda fun to mix it up! |

Master 1734 On a lake in the Adirondacks in NY | Subject: RE: Team 3 Halloween Run Challenge Got my workout tonight playing pickleball. Anyone else ever played? It's on a tennis court (with different lines than tennis) with paddles kind of like ping-ping paddles and a wiffle ball. The wiffle ball makes it interesting because alittle wind really affects the game. I was never any good at tennis, but pickleball is fun. The group we play with isn't too serious about it and they're crazy enough to play even though it's 40 degrees. We have the tennis courts to ourselves, because all the tennis players left for Florida after Labor Day. I was inside and didn't see it, but my daughter hung out after school to watch the boys' soccer game and said it snowed for about 5 minutes. The new season is fall, right? Not winter? 'cause it feels like winter out there. |
