pdbman - 2010-03-04 9:03 AM Haven't had our question of the day yet.  How about favorite TV show?  My favorite is Chuck.

FAMILY GUY!!!

Another vote for family guy, although I'm notoriously bad for catching new episodes of anything.  God bless hulu and netflix.

I also watch lost and just finished the first season of chuck during drainer rides this winter.

wgraves7582 - 2010-03-04 5:01 PM Stacie - congrats to hubby!  That is probably a great feeling - I did 8 and that was enough!  Have fun with the family!

Thanks. He is very excited. Today he told me only 57 more days... The job came at the right time - his enlistment was up on the 15th of this month and he would have had to re-enlist for another 3 years. We are very excited..

Means he is probably out of the AF Marathon since he won't have vacation time but I will still do it. Now just gotta figure out how to get there and back and such.

Stacie
Another congrats your hubby(and you too) on the new job.

wgraves7582 - 2010-03-04 4:18 PM Do you think it is wise to try another 2000+ swim session tomorrow?

Should I give the body a break and just do my typical 1000?

I know it is a no-no in running but how about the pool?

Definitely do a shorter workout.  I bet that you will be feeling today's workout.

I'll agree here since you basically just doubled your normal distance.  Once you get have swam the 2000 a few times I see no problems going back to back.

dimplespoo - 2010-03-04 5:00 PM Sorry everyone for being MIA - I am here - I got in my bike last night and have a 2 mile run and core on tap yet for tonight. It has just been a long day - I think too much excitement from yesterday.

2 good things - Hubby got a civilian job yesterday so he put in his active duty AF paperwork to retire yesterday - he will be done 1 May. Just a little shy of 21 years.

2. I fly to Chicago tomorrow. Spending the next 10 days with My sister - baby shower for a SIL this weekend, nephew's 8 yo birthday next week at a rock climbing gym. Yeah....But most importantly no work.

Will keep workouts up when I am there- I made my calendar this month around it. Be sure to post in the spreadsheet on Saturday or before so we get credit when Dee checks the sheets.

Go Team. Lets have a good team ranking.

Stacie

Nice job on the workouts.  Hope you have a good trip!

mchally - 2010-03-03 2:09 PM Bill, I must say that you have gotten chattier since my last challenge with you.

Shhhh - I think that was the Horny Melons right???  That was about 2 years ago right?  I am a changed man
More like 16-18 months...

I know that I have had quite a few slow posting months since then...I need to fix that.  How I miss the days of 1200+ posts a month.
You were on track to hit the #1 poster spot in record time, too.

I was shocked I was still ahead of her in posts.  She is wicked post padding good!

Maybe I can stay ahead of her by playing on both teams and the Ghoulies and Peach and Crappy Winter Weather (but that one is too quiet!).  Time to start up Commuting Challenge also.  I need help!
Shucks, thanks bill.

Just speaking the truth Melissa.  Weren't you new when we were horny melons?  And no you are right behind me and I post a lot (IMHO) but never anything worthwhile

You've had a solid couple of months lately.  You blew right by me not too long ago.

Man...I'm so wiped out right now.

After my trainer ride tonight, I'm going to pack it in early and try to get 9 hours of sleep.

I love 9 hours of sleep.  Ten is even better!

x1,000,000

I'll agree here.  Too bad I need to be in bed in 10 minutes in order to get 9 hours of sleep.  Yeah, not gonna happen.

K, I'm off for a while.  There is a women's cycling event at a LBS.  Lots of fun stuff going on, door prizes including bikes.  The featured speaker is Sally Edwards.  Free buffet, Wine and amazing chocolates.  It should be entertaining.

See ya' later all.

9 or 10 hours of sleep?????  I'm drooling over your luxury.  That doesn't happen when you have a 10 month old baby!!!

Errrrrr....  Bike maintenance tonight.  After my ride the other night, I must of had about 20 pounds of mud wedged into my deraileurs.

If the weather stays decent, maybe a little off-road duathlon this weekend.
