LOL It would be interesting to ask Planned Piglet if he saw you strolling on that street with Unplanned Piglet, thereby causing him to pull out his wallet and pay Unplanned Hooker in order to provide you with Unplanned Feedback regarding his thoughts on the situation. Yeah, I'd say it came out karmically even. Although, if you still have Unplanned Piglet in your pocket (so to speak), that would make you come out ahead. (This is based on the assumption that Planned Piglet would have to take out his wallet again, if he wants to spend more time with Unplanned Hooker.) Your life is ALWAYS interesting, isn't it? LOL Yeah, and if you thought YESTERDAY was interesting ... the bolded part, btw, is probably the funniest thing I've read this year. Now, scramble all the Planneds, Unplanneds, and characters around, and that was only part of the craziness today. I iz dizzy ... Planned or unplanned, Yanti your life is always extremely interesting. |

I got a really good long bike ride in yesterday... probably longer than it should have been because I was getting problems with numbness in my feet and had to keep stopping to stretch out my legs. Finally I figured out what it was- I had thick socks on because it was cold, but then it made my shoes too tight and cut off circulation in my feet. Once I took off my socks, my riding suddenly became better and faster! Funny how having blood going to your feet makes such a difference! They were still numb at the end of the ride, but because my feet were cold, not from lack of circulation. I think I need to get those booty things that go over your bike shoes. I'll try catching up with this thread later tonight.... Probably won't be able to respond to all of it, but I'll read up on what you guys have been up to! Good to see you! Congrats on the long ride ... oh, and for cheap, you can duct tape your bike shoes. For real! No booties needed! Just unwrap in the spring. |

This must be off the hook C-R-A-Z-Y!! The other other night was not so bizarre. I met a wonderful guy, we got together, spent more time 'deep talking' than anything, and have been talking since ... Then tonight we planned to meet late at a bar on the beach (since both of us had earlier plans). My 'earlier plans' wound up being extremely bizarre, yet very fun. Then when I went to go meet him at the bar ... Okay, well, let's just say THEORETICALLY, as in, in the NOVEL of my life, like if this were a movie ... why does every guy story in my life end with something like ... "and everything was going great until he said he was Sorry this happened to you. Just remember we love you Yanti, even if he doesn't. It's all good, it's all funny now, but you do always say that you love me at the most wonderful and needed times. Then again, for love, it's always a most wonderful and needed time! {MELON PRESS} |

You definitely have to hang still! Sorry you're still injured... Thanks! Hopefully I will be seeing some recovery when the orthotic insoles arrive. On a positive note, I got a sexy new ride!! Now I just need to break the fear... it's my first road bike and the handling and balancing is MUCH different. It took me 20 minutes + husband's support to even get going on the thing. I thought that I was going to leave the store without a bike today. I was such a wimp. Video evidence is the only way you would understand what a mess I was building up the balls to ride. I think I maxed out at about 15km/h, but I know with a few practice sessions I should be more comfortable. http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bc/SBCProduct.jsp?spid=52859&scid=1001&scname=Road |

Maybe I should just get fish? My dog gives me soggy, slimy tennis balls. Does that count? |

Maybe I should just get fish? Morning All! Just had a massive morning of drama, worked really late last night and early this morning to get a draft of a proposal in by a 10am deadline. At 9.15 am I went to send it and realised that the latest saved version I had was from yesterday afternoon, with a more recent version on my home laptop but not enough time to get it...etc etc (no idea what happened, a version of idiotic events I guess!), so I had 45 mins to complete about 5 hours worth of work.... I did my best, got it in and apparently it was ok, so phew! I have, however, decided not to apply for the other fellowship I meant to as it is just so much work and I seriously doubt I would be able to get together a competitive application in time anyway. So, it is not worth my sanity to try to. I have more than enough on my plate as it is!

Master 1623 | Subject: RE: April Pick Up-to-4 Challenge So after hours and hours of searching for miniature schnauzer breeders and finding some very pricey puppies (James loves me but I think he's going to draw the line at a $1000 puppy  , I think I've found the right breeder. She says she has 2 females that have been bred and she'll know soon if they are pregnant. If they are the puppies would be ready to go home late July/early August which is when we wanted to get one since that's when we'll be moving in to a new apartment. Also she's just 45 minutes away which is the closest breeder I've found. The puppy would be $350 and would be up to date on shots, have a health guarantee and come with a puppy kit (food, leash, toys). I'm very very excited. I can't wait to bring the little guy home. |
