Master 1346 Gold Coast | Subject: RE: June Battle of the Triathlon Sports Challenge Great weekends racing TR, Tracey and mtb guy (sorry, I can't remember your name, I'll look and remember later I promise!). Nice work, one and all Oh, and Judi - OWS, awesome, especially as we share each others lathing of swimming! Hope I haven't missed anyone! On another note, the run team has one member who has not logged any activity all month. Is it possible/allowed to cut that person from the team? At 20 days into a 30 day challenge I think its safe to say they are not actually participating! |

Looking at their logs they have done some running so I could always transpose the info... will see what response I get. |

Extreme Veteran 668 Melbourne | Subject: RE: June Battle of the Triathlon Sports Challenge So 2/3rds of the way through the month now and just under half of my target to achieve, I think I should just get there. A good weekend, got 2 sessions on the bike in on the weekend and a 3rd very early this morning. Survived the nights with the wife away other than my 17 month old daughter getting tripped by her brother and smashing a glass window pane with her head and then following it up the next night by managing to fall out of her cot after being put to bed half an hour earlier. Thankfully both events seem to have done no damage to her (I have no idea how they didn't) and just resulted in me having to get all handyman to board up the window and take the cot apart to lower the floor in it. At pretty much a metre tall at this age no wonder she is causing problems with the cot. |

Master 2042 Albany, NY | Subject: RE: June Battle of the Triathlon Sports Challenge Wow, I go missing for a few days... and we jumped a bunch of pages!!! IT at work is now sending daily emails of each employee's web usage to supervisors... so BT time at work is out. Busy weekend with parents and in-laws here. But both girls had a wonderful dance recital on Saturday. And by wonderful I mean, they got on stage (which would scare the bejeezus out of me) and danced 4 or 5 numbers each with big smiles of their faces. And #1 got to go home with her blinking hula hoop - how cool is that?! We ran from there (make up, glitter, blinking hula hoops and all...) to #1's last soccer game where she got to bring home her trophy. Followed up with some grillin' and camp fire last night. Today involved making breakfast for all dad's in the house and then painting the walls in my stairway... I'm so done for the weekend! Sorry to say but my Dalls episode will be accompanied with a glass of wine instead of biking tonight.... But for you running teammates... I did get a quick run in yesterday before the chaos really started. And I have an almost guaranteed 3.1 miles on Saturday. I'll get there before the end o the month... I promise!!! |

Elite 3489 Lakewood, CO | Subject: RE: June Battle of the Triathlon Sports Challenge Hey sorry RUN team, I forgot I signed up for the challenge - wish I would have remembered on vacation, it probably would have been the extra motivation I needed to get out of the camper in the morning and go for a run. As it was, I only did 5 miles that week when I planned on 15-20. All that to say, I am way behind on my goal, but I shall see what I can do over the last 11 days. Good luck to everyone else striving to reach your goals!!!

Elite 3913 far northern CA | Subject: RE: June Battle of the Triathlon Sports Challenge I had a great swim today! I worked on some of the form things my friend showed me. It's hard work changing how I swim but it seems like it's going to be well worth it. I also worked on my flip turns. They were more like flip flops. |

I don't know how to make the spreadsheet not give any more than 105 but I'll change any totals above that when it's time for the final standings at the end of the month. |

I start next month with training and then officially begin working the end of the month as an op tech for a new eye care center. Not very related to my major but the job I really really wanted after interviewing for it. I think I'm really going to enjoy every second of it |

Elite 3913 far northern CA | Subject: RE: June Battle of the Triathlon Sports Challenge I ran in my new shoes today on the tready. They SUCK!!!! I have been running in Mizuno Wave Riders forever. I love them! The new model (14) is much different than the previous models. It's narrower and heavier. My toes fell asleep and the side of my foot was (and still is) killing me. Why do shoe companies change the design of shoes so much!? Ugh! Does anyone have any recommendations for shoes with a wide toe box? |
