Morning TAN Laughing

It's a beautiful start in AZ! Coffee in hand...just me and the dogs listening to the birds on the patio.

I probably just jinxed it. Ehhhh.

You and I are living the same dream.  It's cool out .. coffee ... iPad .. birds .. on the patio.  Oh, and the landscapers across the alley are using a leafblower to blow junk around.  Who doesn't love their junk blown in the morning!

Aw such a tough life. You people don't know what loud is until you've lived in downtown Chicago. Bums fighting, sirens blaring, drunk college kids chattering, weird Asian neighbor playing some weird Asian movies til the wee hours. Psh you suburbanites and your first-world problems. GET OFF MY LAWWWWN!
Came home last night to learn that the neighbor two doors down from me was getting evicted and pulled a gun on his landlord, daring him to set foot on the property. Cops, SWAT, fun stuff. City living is grand.
If the earth were to be given an enema, Cleveland OH would be the point of insertion.

Cleveland is what I call Mistake on the Lake (that's where the Captain calls home

Yup, I can't argue with any of that, but it's home :/ Still kicking myself for ever coming back here, but it is what it is, for now at least.
Would you like to spy on my date for me? I still think he may be marry?  Wouldn't that just make me a little angry?
Eh, why not? I don't have anything else going on tonight. :/

Ok, report back what I want to hear!

Absolutely! I think it's something like "He's not married, and swears that the thing with the monkey and gag balls was really just all on a dare; there's nothing to worry about".

Men will lie and other men will swear to it!

Most Everyone lies (white or their whole life), its just what you lie about and to whom.

Yum and YUM!

My mom-in-law is really sweet. She gave us (over the course of a year) $75 worth of gift cards. ummm, we don't have Panera... in AZ...at all. They bought a chunk of another cafe/bakery called Paradise Bakery and won't put in competition. Sucks.

I thought it was just our small town. Got all excited to find one up in Phoenix one day. Was a very disappointing afternoon to say the least! Had to use them when we went back to KS for J's HIM. Bought everyone lunch with the cards... and m-i-l tells me thank you. Sure, anytime. hahahaha

Now I want the snickerdoodle cookies from Paradise Bakery .. they are so YUMMY!!!!  Must resist urge to get in car and go.....

You drive a hard bargain, but..sure! :)

Ok, how the heck do y'all post in here all day and still be productive? I feel like I've barely accomplished anything today (other than TANing).

Good thing our source control database blew up and there isn't much to do right now.

She was a good egg.  She spent her early, formative years dancing in a speakeasy.  Grandma was none too pure as a young lady.

Ummm...look how this convo began. Wink

With birds and dogs and a patio?

NRG42 - 2012-10-05 12:56 PM Vietnamese spring rolls with fresh basil and shrimp from Le Colonial (in my top 3 places in Chicago)

sounds awesome.  i just got soup and a pumpkin muffin at panera(in my top 3 places across the street from work)

My grandma used to make snickerdoodles for me.  When we got married, my wife had never heard of them.  Now she's a champ at making them.

It's all in the training.

I'd make... but then hide from everyone b/c they're my fav. I'm not good at sharing.Surprised

Ah very true!  The question is then who will lie for you.

A best friend

You want to be my best friend?

I am not the best friend you get to lie for you.  I am the best friend you get to punish people for lying to you or other transgressions.
