Good day ghoulies.

I was able to play tennis last night after biofreeze and ibuprofen.  The sciatic nerve is still behaving, so I am being very hopeful it will stay so.  I did walk 1.5 miles on the treadmill this morning, and my back is a little sore, but still basically doing okay.  Need to slowly build back up.

Update on the email. The Pres of the basketball organization responded back that he, and the rest of the board were made aware of the incarceration, and the reason why, and that he passed the child abuse background checks, so the board approved him to coach.

Then just a few minutes ago I received another email from him stating that the coach would like to meet with me, with several board members present, to discuss my concerns. My name was not given to the coach, and I was asked to keep the incarceration private as to protect the coach's daughter.

I replied back and respectfully declined. I told him I stated my concern and if the situation would arise again that he would coach my daughter we will simply take her elsewhere to play.

Two new staff started today.  As of this moment I am currently fully staffed.  Keep your fingers crossed that it stays this way for a long long time.

No fun toppages today. I think we need to burn through this page to get a good one.

Yeah... he can bite me. I'm not going to lose sleep over it, and I will continue protecting my kids until I'm no longer breathing.

Oh, and FWIW, I don't like the book much but my step daughter has pleaded with me to read the whole thing (I stopped now quite to half way reading it). I don't like the whole kids killing kids thing.

I read the books, Caleb even read the books, we talked about them. I could have done without the killings asa well, but I don't think there was any other way the author could have portrayed the decadence, and absolute control of The Capitol.

I agree. That is pretty clear in the beginning. We control you, all of you, so much that we make you kill your own kids for enjoyment, and there is NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. 

I just tend to get really depressed when I read depressing books. I am better in the spring, so... here we go.

I have plans for several silly books afterwards.
