His daughter was in preschool when I was PTA president, so we'd hang and socialize. Even though we saw each other episodically, we still kept our friendship going. Whenever I get summonsed I always remember a scene from "Boston Legal" when Denny Crane lamented that his fate was in the hands of people who were unable to get themselves out of jury duty. I've Googled it, and it seems that it is really hard to do so.. Sounds like it would be a big hassle. |
