I know what I'm *supposed* to do, just hate days without some form of exercise.  Seriously, I'll go shorter if I don't feel like the 7 miles will happen.  I have all month to make the goal...

Hi all! Hope everyone's feeling better! I'm doing MUCH better. I worked today (all of 5.5 hours), and my heart rate only jumps to 130 when I walk casually upstairs from my basement. I'm lthinking of it as mini-sprints. It's good to have enough energy to sit at the puter and say hi. Turns out about 3 of my coworkers also got sick on/around Christmas, so that must be where I picked up the stomach ick.

Oh-almost forgot not really but you'll believe whatever I say HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! 

I'm always up to play with kittens ...

I should point out its well after midnight but sleeping just didnt seem like fun so here I am!!!

Maybe I really should go back to bed....

Speaking of kittens, look who is coming home on Saturday (but you can't tell my kids... they think he's coming home on the 12th):

Yanti has coached me so I don't think my dogs will eat him and so far when we've visited he and his siblings (plus another litter, 10 kitties total) and the 4 adult cats in their house have not caused me to sneeze, cough, sniffle or have an asthma attack, so I think my "my ridiculous cat allergy & kitties that might work" research paid off.

So, my New Year's eve was kind of a bust

my friends backed out - not feeling well, so I understand

I played some rock band with the boys

fell asleep on the couch at 9 - hmmmm, ya think all that swimming wore me out?

That actually sounds like a great new year's eve... tired from great training and quality time with the kids .

I actually had to drink coffee to stay up.  We backed out of our plans (neither of us feeling 100%) and watched movies with the two eldest exhibits.  We told them they could stay up so I decided it would be good to try to stay up with them since they were so excited.  I woulda liked to go to bed at 9:00.  Hubby watched one of the movies through his closed eyelids.

That kitten is beautiful. One of my boys got brushed last night and he wasn't happy about it. (DH did it cause I'm allergic to everything but horses and this cats dander bothers me more than the other)

I was in bed a little after 10 PM and crawled out around 8:30 this morning,think I was in need of some serious zzzzz's?

you're actually quite right!  truth to be told, i was secretly kind of glad they cancelled - it would have been fun - but, I needed the rest

it is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice to be not going to the pool today - LOL
