I had pumpkin, of course, because we're gonna eat that pumpkin team for dinner! Had a fun, fun, FUN run this morning. Turned out to be around 28-30ish, perfectly still, and absolutely gorgeous. A really fun day with a good group of people. The lake was beautiful. Plus, they raised $2000 for charity, yay! Pics will come once I get the film developed - yep, you read that right, FILM! I've got a run scheduled for this morning, then probably another on Saturday to make it 100%. Whee! |

Lets see if I can win my age group, which I doubt since I haven't been 100% for the last month of running or so. Side note, I was asked by the Commanding Officer of the building I work in to run with him in a team for the Trans Rockies Run 2009. 6 days or about 110 miles. I am very excited about it. I think getting asked to run this race is exactly what I needed to get excited about running again. Guess I have 9 months to train for the longest race I have ever participated in. That is AWESOME, Travis! How very cool, and what an honor to be asked by the CO. I predict Day 3 will hurt the worst. So, how'd your race go? |

Just coming back from a little 3.4 mile around the block virtual turkey trot for the team PECANS. Photos from it are in my album, I won't even try to post them in the thread because that never works for whatever reason. I could even recruit BF as an extra nut! With this, I am at 100% of my November running goal! And now I am ready for some serious Thanksgiving dinner! Very cool! Love the photos. Good job roping the BF into the fun.  I gotta agree - TG dinner was oh-so-nice after burning all those calories in the morning. |

As much as I enjoy winning and hate letting the team down, I am not up to par to push the twenty miles I need to pull it off. Maybe I will run another 10 tomorrow on my B-day to try and finish up. Guess we will see what happens. |

I made them half-page size so they could get pinned under your race number, or if you get all fancy, ironed on to a t-shirt. I made a grayscale one and a color one. They aren't too fancy, but it should get some conversation started! I love your Pecan signs!!! I didn't see a soul on my turkey day run!.....sorry, no pictures! |

Fan-freaking-tastic if you ask me! I had a pretty hard month there in middle so I'm pretty happy I was able to pull it out. On to the next (set of) challenge(s)!
