You must recover well.  I don't even want to think about running yet.  I might hop on the bike tonight but running.....maybe next week

All right! I am geared up to make this a full week. I'm hoping for over 300 minutes, as I haven't had that in a loooong time.

I have an advantage over you.  This being my second one, I knew what my limits where.  Now last year I didn't run for 3 weeks after the Marathon.

Biking will help losen the legs as will walking.  Stretch, stretch and stretch some more.

Great weekend everyone...glad to see we were all getting our peach on!

I worked out at the gym on Saturday and then did my long run Sunday! Legs are sore today but I plan to hit the gym after work.

Ok so I feel like a total loser.  I hate not exercising on the weekends because that is when there is the most time available.

Friday I wasn't feeling so good.  Saturday, I felt miserable so I didn't exercise.  I could've at least did some stretching but I didn't.  Sunday, I was still recovering but did end up doing some stretching and a few strength exercises.

Got a six-mile treadmill run this morning. Boredom factor wasn't too bad.

I think I'm up for a peach November. This challenge really helped me keep moving!

Wanted to add that my Sunday ride got me over the 1000 mile mark on the bike since starting in July!  Yay!   I know for those of you that have been around a while that's not much, but it's a number I was looking foward to reaching.   My goal is to reach 1585 by the end of the year which is the door-to-door distance from Las Vegas to our old neighboorhood in St. Louis, MO.    Based on the training plan for next year, I think I'll target having a total of 5000 miles on the bike by the end of 2009 (~3500 for the year).   That just seems amazing to me how fast the miles add up when bike training!

I think I'll join in on this one as well.   I'm skipping a couple other ones I'd like to do (PT, run) as I'm taking a full week off riding/biking after my last tri for the year on Nov 9th before starting the 20 week HIM program on the 17th.   Staying peachy will be good though as I can't manage not doing anything for a week.

I majorly talked myself into a cold, drizzly, dark run/walk interval set.  I mapped out my route and I'm so sloooow (barely under 15 min/mile).  I know it'll get better with time as it has already.  Due to me being sick, I missed my long set (32 minutes) on Saturday.  I did a 5 minute warmup walk (instead of 2 minutes) and then did 2 min run/walk intervals for 30 minutes.  It was hard.  My legs complained.  My brain kept telling me to just finish by walking or take the shortcut home or just go straight home.  I didn't though.  I also realized how much of a mental game it is that we must play with ourselves sometimes.

I bagged my swim and run today, have not been sleeping well...I think my body is exhausted.  Wound up doing strength training for 30 minutes for my peach.  I'm bummed I did not get any cardio in today, but sometimes you have to listen to your body and other times you have to suck it up.....today was a listening day.

You got out there and did it! That's all that counts!

Yesterday I got my peach in at the gym...did weights and a short 15 min stationary bike.

Tonight I am running hills after work with a friend!
