Artemis - 2008-03-25 1:09 PM Kristen and Judi, are either of you interested in an open water swim clinic? The Richmond Tri Club is doing one on Sunday 4/13 at 1:00. It's $5 for non-members, but you can apply it to a membership. I'm planning on going.
Mmmm - intriguing...I saw it on the website, but was wondering about the temp - I haven't gotten a wetsuit yet and was worried it would be cold. Whaddaya think?

can you rent a wetsuit?

Probably - although I'm thinking I will not be so motivated. Ha! I like to look at the little black line when I swim. Maybe they can put one in the river for me.

LOL!

so, how far is richmond from philly?

I think it's about 4 hours.

hmmmmm

so, some weekend when I am staying 'in the area' maybe i could come meet up with you guys/gals

Fun!

Artemis - 2008-03-25 9:15 PM I posted in the thread and offered to run it or help run it. I don't know that I'd want to limit it to the northern folks.

if there is a desire to have a challenge for northern folks that's fine.

we can have more than one challenge at a time -

I suggest you guys go ahead and post your idea and go from there

I agree with the wisdom of Beth.

I actually have a wetsuit that I think would fit you. I got it for free from someone and it's a little small for me, so I was thinking of passing on to you if you want it.

I'd be interested.

Cool.  I'll send you a PM about it.

Looks like you might be off the hook for April!

That's kind of sad.  I was looking forward to running a challenge.  Oh well.

You could volunteer? Ask thm if they want to run it or if yuo could do it for them?

Xterratri has been after a multisport challenge for a couple of months so I guess thats where its come from....

There is always May!

Seriously, multisport challenge would be a pain in the azz to run ... well, come to think of it, there's only three combos of sports possible ... hmmm ... you could PM and see if he wants to open the challenge up to BT instead of just one region and co-run it?

I'm still going back to the idea that there can be multiple challenges - but, it might not be a bad idea to check in with them
