The only difference in Cool Whip brand and the generic grocery store brand is the label. He said they simply changed the labels in the machines. All the ingredients are the same. Close. Due to the risk of trademark infringement, the store brand company has to have a different formula. But it can be as simple as changing something small...anything...the order of ingredients, or adding or subtracting an ingredient. (used to work for a company that manufactures store brand food items for grocery chains) |
