Subject: RE: October Peach ChallengeI majorly talked myself into a cold, drizzly, dark run/walk interval set. I mapped out my route and I'm so sloooow (barely under 15 min/mile ). I know it'll get better with time as it has already. Due to me being sick, I missed my long set (32 minutes ) on Saturday. I did a 5 minute warmup walk (instead of 2 minutes ) and then did 2 min run/walk intervals for 30 minutes. It was hard. My legs complained. My brain kept telling me to just finish by walking or take the shortcut home or just go straight home. I didn't though. I also realized how much of a mental game it is that we must play with ourselves sometimes. |
