Yes I have done that on more than a few occasions, not thinking wearing my suit under my street clothes, and not packing the necessaties...hopefully you had a loose fitting top or a good jacket to cover up a little.

So is suck a riffic both good and bad or just amplified suckage?  Either way, 6.8 and 45 minute strength is great!

Well, heck, who hasn't forgotten their underwear once or twice?  I forgot a bra last time I went to the pool.  I wore my suit to the pool and remembered underwear but totally flaked out on the bra.  Oops!  I was going out to lunch afterwards too.  Nothing to do but go without as I was not gonna miss my lunch (and I live 45 minutes away from the pool).  No one noticed.  Hmmmmm, what does that say....

Been there and done that too!!!! I have also thrown my wet suit into my gym bag and not been able to wear the undergarments because they were soaked!!!

I too got my drainer ride in. Set up next to the Christmas tree. The fan and pine scent still didnt make up for it being a drainer ride( its gonna be a long winter). SO far ahead of my goals for the month.

The flip side of having left the undies at home is when static electricity adheres it to the inside of your trousers and to have a pair of undies slide out out from under a pants cuffs sometime in your  work day!

Happened to me ONCE.  I went commando.  (in a suit, woo hoo).  Lesson learned.  I check twice now before I leave in the a.m.    (forgot dress socks once when I was working out in the a.m. then going straight to work, now there are an extra two pair in the bag)

but - you got 6.8 in!  I'd like to run with you sometime.  Unless you have like a 7 minute pace - then...well, I'll see you at the finish line for the 'wine challenge'

Ok - since you asked.  It was July or so of 2008 - my then 4 year old starts referring to me as "big belly daddy".  nice.  then asks me when I am going to have my baby.  (My wife had our son June 07)  So...I bought a new scale...and wow - didn't realize I was that fat.  Highest known wt - 241.6 - and I'm only 5'8''.  It started really slow.  I tried watching what I was eating and how much.  Then, I garnered an interest in joining the JAG corps with the Nat'l Guard....they have standards - BF % or weight.  to make weight - I had to be 179.  I tried running - couldn't make much more than a mile at that point - so reverted to walking - and did portion control - and logging calories.  (I think that was the big thing.)  Suddenly, I was losing almost a pound a week.  As time passed, I moved up to running and weightlifting at the local gym.  I also started doing an early morning boot camp and was playing basketball at night in the Th. night Y league.  There were times when I had 3 workouts a day.  Did the 'couch to 5K' program.  Hit a plateu at about 217 - got the flu - moved past plateau only to find another one at about 206.  Did P90X.  (great program by the way) moved on again and actually started getting cut.  I started doing 5K races on a regular basis - sometimes 2-3 per month (keeps you training when you know you have a race coming)  I am stalled now again in the 190's - and in any given week I can bounce from 193 to 198.  I am not watching my diet nearly as closely now, although I should be.  I'd really like to be under 190 for Christmas, but I think I've screwed that up.  I"m still going to try though.  My wife thinks I am at the right weight.  I'd still like to hit the low 180's.

(sorry for the long post)

and in challenge news - no trial today - so I can hit the Y - no snow but a LOT of wind.  predicting 50 mph gusts this pm.  Nice.  I think I'll run as I seem to be lagging on that goal.  I hope it is not like this for the 5k on NYE.

Staying in a hotel in Tulsa, OK - its about 15 degrees out...  brrr....  got in a 50 min ellipitical followed by about 15 min on treadmill - woo hoo - day one of the running comeback is in the books - just have to wait and see if I can walk tomorrow now...

I will be in Oklahoma City tomorrow - I will probably hit a gym there and knock out a bike workout on a spin bike...  Can't swim until next Tue due to stitches from the dermatologist yesterday...  ]

Don't worry,  I will still make my goal...
