173lbs. Maybe a few cookies heavier than last Wed. Limited activity/no workouts for last few days will probably cause a bump up over the next week.

Eeesh, I must have missed the Wednesday weigh in post somewhere.  Holding at 146.  Still lhave 6 chemo lbs to go...they do NOT want to come off.  But I did lose 3 lbs the week before, so that is good.

First run in my VFFs tonite, ran 1 mile on the dreadmill in them and it felt very natural/normal...although louder.  Then did rest of run in usual shoes...really liked it better in the VFFs, but definitely feel different muscles being used.  So preliminary report is cautiously positive.

Hmmm, public weigh indeed.  Yeah, not so much Wink  Lost 25 pounds a year ago, and have maintained since.  Need to kick it back in and lose 20-25 more, hopefully by the summer.

Thanks for the shoe report. I suppose you need to build the muscles in your feet. Keep us posted.

Definitely interested to hear more about the VFFs.  Glad to hear you are being smart about working into them slowly.

Congrats on your weightloss.  25 lbs is a significant amount of weight to lose!  You don't have to say how much you weigh....you could always say you are at 0 and want to get to -20 or -25 and status us on that.  It's for support...we're here for ya!

Weighed in this morning and I am at 257 lbs. Down 4.5 more from last week.  Had a tough week with work and excersise.  Hopefully that turns around.

I like the weigh in idea.  I'll be cheering you guys on.  I don't really have much to loose.  I do know a lot about nutrition though so if anyone needs any help feel free to ask!

How's the training going this week for everyone. This is my last heavy week..next week is a taper week for me.  I am terrible when it comes to tapering so I'll still put in some decent mileage but easier paced.

Here is a great quote from the book Born to Run "People don't quit running because they are old, they are old becasue  they quit running. "

Weighed in at 160 this morning.  Down about 8 pounds since November.  Am hoping to get down to 145 within the next couple of months.  Training has been going well (consistent, too!) and I've been mindful of my diet.  I feel good, which is probably the best part of it!!

Back in the pool for the first time in 2 weeks. Reminded me that I need to be way more consistent in my swim training. No cycling or running this week because of IT problem but it is rapidly improving. Should be back on the bike next week.

Nice bro....2 weeks isn't too bad, you'll be back at it.  I call it controlled drowning.

Awesome!  my 35 min tempo run yesterday sounds like a walk in the park comparatively.  Are you supposed to lose weight while marathon training?  I hear that some might even gain weight?

Awesome!  I am going to do the half.  I considered doing the whole but I will have done Boston the month before so it was a little too much.

Wow, we could have a little get together, I should be there for the half too. I think this will be my 8th or 9th Green Bay 1/2.

I am so excited!  I found a 12-week swim clinic that starts tomorrow.  And the best part is...it's at MY pool!!!  I am so excited.  I'm an okay swimmer, but I want to break some bad habits before I go much further with my training.  I talked to the coach and he sounds really awesome.  200-yd time trial tomorrow...should be interesting to see where I fit in.  I'll let you all know how it goes
