They SUCK!!!! I have been running in Mizuno Wave Riders forever. I love them! The new model (14) is much different than the previous models. It's narrower and heavier. My toes fell asleep and the side of my foot was (and still is) killing me. Why do shoe companies change the design of shoes so much!? Ugh! Does anyone have any recommendations for shoes with a wide toe box? I have wider feet......LOVE Brooks.....currently wear the Trance. Have also done Adrenalines. Prefer Trance so far even with my limited running these days I have a very neutral stride and don't do well with squishy shoes. How are Brooks in these areas? Oh the days when I didn't run... I would choose shoes based on how they looked. |

I start next month with training and then officially begin working the end of the month as an op tech for a new eye care center. Not very related to my major but the job I really really wanted after interviewing for it. I think I'm really going to enjoy every second of it Awesome! Congratulations!! |

Fortunately for me feet, I got over that. |

You'll probably learn more on the job than you ever did in the classrom |

Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: June Battle of the Triathlon Sports Challenge Well, I wanted to ride longer.....but managed to get an hour in. THe road was blocked for an accident. Figured 2 police cars and tow trucks meant a bike shouldn't go through. Could have gone around another way but by the time I was close enough to the intersection to see I could take a left (without stopping) I was already way in the right lane.....I have less than an hour to my goal anyway. |

I don't know how to make the spreadsheet not give any more than 105 but I'll change any totals above that when it's time for the final standings at the end of the month. Hope you don't mind, but I took care of that. Not at all!! Thanks so much!! |

Are there any other models of Mizunos that I should try? I like shoes that are "hard". I don't like much cushioning. My arch is normal and my stride is neutral. I don't over pronate or supinate or anything. My only issue is my wide forefoot and narrow heel. That combo makes finding shoes difficult. On a good note....I called the shop where I got the shoes and said that I HATE my new shoes. He said "no problem, just bring them back in." |

Okay, I must have been having a moment. I didn't even see that you were already running in Mizunos. I used to have a pair of Mizuno Wave Alchemy 8 that I liked. I'm currently running in Addidas which I feel has a comparable fit. Have you tried to get the older, Mizuno model on Ebay? If you can find it, you might be able to get a couple of pairs. |

I'm also just over 100% - very happy with that seeing as I initially hoped to be marathon training for this month but I have managed my goal with the tail end of an injury and half marathon training only Edited by rh8463 2011-06-23 7:31 PM |
